  • Terrible app crashes all the time

    Very unimpressed with this app. They want you to use it for all your cruise bookings etc. all it does is crash and ruin your cruise as you spend time trying to rectify the issues with sailor services. We made dinner bookings that disappeared. We bought a bar tab that showed up on embarkation. By the time we got to our room it had disappeared. Took us 2 days through sailor services to have it reinstated. Don’t even get me started on how rude and disinterested sailor services are 😑

  • Barely Works

    Poor functionality. If it actually worked, it would probably be okay. Had so much trouble initially and now that it seemed to be working it just goes to a blank screen when I go to book dining. 🙄
    If I could rate it less than one star, I would.
  • Terrible can’t log in

    App is not letting us sign in and it’s 3 groups called agent couldn’t help then virgin still can’t get in and sail in a couple weeks with no restaurants been booked so annoying for the $$$ you pay
  • Absolutely useless

    The worst app ever. Unbelievable that an organisation as big as virgin voyages puts out an app like this. I think my 4 year old Grandson could have done better. It is mind numbingly slow, falls over more frequently than It actually works!

    Clearly Mr Branson hasn’t had to use it !

    Come on Virgin get your act together and either withdraw the app or sort out the problems. Cruises are not cheap and expecting an app to work efficiently and speedily is not unreasonable. Suffice it to say you will be putting people off using you for repeat business.

  • Data privacy concerns

    Huge privacy issues in this app. I downloaded it and set up my own account. Straight after this, my partner was unable to log into his account and has had numerous issues trying to get back in (still not resolved). I have now discovered that I was logged out of my account and am now logged into his account on my phone. I never did this and don’t know his log on details and am using a completely different device. Now I can view all of his information including the photo of his passport. I should not be able to view all of someone else’s information (even if it is my partner). I have no idea what happened to my account either.

  • Worst app for any cruise company

    Virgin Voyages app constantly crashes, unstable, slow to load; difficult to book restaurants as it’s always “oops technical glitches and errors.
    The app cannot handle the web traffic and needs a
    massive upgrade
    Not a very good first impression feeling nervous already.
  • Worst app experience of all time!

    Never before have I felt the need to write a review for an app. However, as I sit here waiting for it to reinstall on my phone I feel I have the time. Nothing about the app works. When signing into our booking I put my spouse’s date of birth - as she’s the one who booked the trip and the only option on the page had “surname” auto filled. Well, that not only booted her out of her account; it bricked both of our apps. Neither app will open, and the tech support is nonexistent. VV better fix this app, and by fix I mean trash it and start over. What a horrible experience. It’s bad enough all around outside this issue that the cruise line expects you to use the app for every single thing you do every day, and the app is a pile of garbage. But beyond that, it’s so bad with this bricked account issue I will simply never book another trip with VV. That’s all, steer clear if given the choice.

  • Install, use, crash, delete, install, use, crash……

    Initial use of the app was good, next time I go to use it (later that day) it “cant retrieve my data” and doesn’t log me in, only after deleting and re-installing does it start working again, untill the next attempt to use it, and around the mulberry bush we go!
    Pretty major bug, setting the scene for a frustrating experience on the upcoming cruise… not a good start!

  • Embarrassing to have such a buggy app that runs your entire experience

    Virgin Voyages is great, but the app is embarrassingly bad. If it was optional, it would be fine, but the Virgin app is your key to literally everything on board the ship and prior to departure.

    Generally buggy, crashes randomly, will sometimes be completely non functional unless you delete and reinstall. In fact, I am on a Virgin ship as I type this, having had to delete and reinstall the app which reminded me to leave this review.

    Please - if you are going to make the app a requirement in order to see the daily schedule, book events, and generally use the ship - hire some help to get it up and running. It’s a MASSIVE weak point in what has otherwise been a very organized, professional, and impressive experience onboard Virgin Voyages.

  • Pathetic functionality

    This would have to be the worst App ever designed. The frustration of trying to use it makes me sorry for booking a virgin voyage. It more often than not freezes up, goes round in circles & greets you with “oops, something went wrong”. I’m more than over this. Never again for me.
