  • Laggin

This bank takes forever to update your available credit, sometimes more than a week, they will take your payment and update it 8 days later. So if you need to use this card prepare 1 or 2 weeks in advance.
  • Stay away

I wish I could give no stars, this is the worst card I’ve ever had, got approved for $3,000 was only able to use $300 called for two weeks straight complaining about the same issue and keep getting the run around, I’ve never experienced anything like this ever before
  • Scam

I’d apply for a credit card and then got approved right
So wen I’d receive my credit card it says to do the Active right
So I did but wouldn’t let me active the credit card that I just received so I send an email to this company and guess what got responded saying my credit card is closed how can be if I just got it so I believe this Prosper Company is a scammers to the people and not this is goes to my credit report how stupid receiving the credit card for one day and the next day is closed

  • Signup was smooth; UI/UX needs improvement

I didn’t have any of the problems the other reviewers mentioned with activating the virtual card. Once my card was approved, it let me set up the account and add the card to Apple Wallet via the app. The security codes should be sent via SMS, but I understand there’s a cost overhead that email doesn’t have. Both the app and website’s UX flow is a bit clunky overall I have to say, and I have a feeling it’s that the developers are using some type of cross-platform mobile app solution. The menu transitions are abrupt, mobile Safari autocompletion doesn’t work to log into the app once the credentials are saved in the browser, the Safari suggested secure passwords don’t meet the specifics of the security requirements for the back end, and basically, once you pass the Plaid verification step, the whole general flow goes downhill big time. I’m cool if you want to use Xamarin or React Native or whatever similar solution, but try to make better UI/UX decisions that follow the native experience users are accustomed to on iOS so it doesn’t feel so much like a port. I’m a fintech geek and a developer myself, and I know it’s easier said than done. I wish Prosper all the best, I thank the developers for the effort they’ve put in to date, and I’ll enjoy checking out the offering as it evolves and making use of the card. Appreciate the help rebuilding my credit after an auto accident wiped me out financially a few years back!

  • Literally everything worked

Was instantly approved. Was able to save the card to my wallet within minutes after approval. Didn’t need the physical card. You don’t get vagaries $39 if you connect them to your bank. Not sure why this has negative reviews.
  • Don’t waste your time getting this card

Every time I try to use it my purchase was declined even though the settings were properly set within the app. Days later the app doesn’t work! It didn’t except my password and I’m trying to reset it but it doesn’t except it! You can’t do anything with this card from this company! Go somewhere else!

  • I’m Mad

The site says I can use 50% of my approval
"instantly" just to download the app. Click new user enter email than it
asks for the card number that I obviously
do not have yet to verify the account. I also called the 1800 number and they were no help at all
  • The worst CC have ever had in my life !!

This company made it impossible to make a payment so my payment was late because of them they charged me a late fee now it’s over the balance than they fixed it after 7 call backs. Now my card is still restricted after calling back 5 different time. BEWARE !! 😳😳😳
  • Not worth it.

I was suggested this card through CreditKarma. The application was easy and I was approved for a decent credit line. However, once I tried to finish up the process and login it went downhill from there. I was told to enter a card # which I haven’t received yet in order to login. Even though, PROSPER advertises that you can use 50% of your credit once approved. I call customer service to be given the wrong information. So I apparently have to wait 3 days in order to see if I can get that fixed. Yeah, I don’t want this card at all. Save yourself the hassle and frustration.

  • Frustrated

This app has not been functioning properly since I’ve downloaded it. I’m constantly having to change my password just to log in. Please fix this issue ASAP.
