  • Easiest App I’ve Used for Fitness!

    I’ve used a few “influencer” apps and programs but a lot of them focus on “skinny and toned”. Since using this program I’ve progressed in my lifts and noticed body comp changes without tracking macros. I really love it’s focused on strength and not “getting toned!”. The app is also super user friendly and there’s always updates to it. The Facebook group is also awesome because you can give input/suggestions. The community is really helpful too:)

  • Great affordable program, app has gotten a lot better!

    I’ve never made more progress than I have on SBTD! I’ve learned so much about the nuances of programming and how to get the most out of my sessions at the gym. I love the supportive community that’s sprouted up around it and feel like I’ve found the program I’ll likely follow for years to come. Also can’t beat the programming for the price point!

    The app can be a bit glitchy at times and is missing some features I’d like, but overall has been pretty consistent for me, and it seems like they’re working hard on making it better. I’m sure all the growing pains will get worked out soon enough!

  • Progressive Overload Made Easy

    I’ve been using this app for several months now and have seen serious progress on my big lifts. Programming is set up to hit all of your muscle groups over a 4 day cycle (with an optional 5th day). It does all the math to make sure you are using progressive overload effectively. Exercises are explained clearly in the app and substitutions are right there when you need them. I also love that you can add warm ups and/or conditioning as needed and to fit your schedule. It’s like personal training without hiring a trainer.

  • I love this app

    I’m so glad I found this app/program for strength training. In only 4 months of training, I’ve made significant strength gains—and knowledge gains.

    There’s so much info and utility packed into this app. The app is organized by 4 main tabs of Home, Resources, Stats, and Profile. Home contains the week’s workouts in sub-tabs by day. Resources includes how-to gifs and descriptions for all exercises that might be programmed and explanatory videos on the primary lifts. The Stats tab has my training record and my stats so I can track how my numbers have changed over time. The final Profile tab contains my account info and my training maxes.

    I love that the app prompts me to raise my training maxes after I over-perform on a given exercise set. Such great positive reinforcement! I also make great use of the ability to sub items out for programmed exercises. (Sorry not sorry; I’m always going to do TRX rows over inverted rows on a barbell. I don’t have a personal gym.)

    The only real change I wish they would make is in app stability. If you don’t have a great internet connection, the app freaks out and sometimes crashes. If it doesn’t crash, you have to force quit. A few times, I have had to sign in again after this happens, which annoying if I’m in the middle of a workout. At least it remembers that I was in the middle training session if I lose connection and asks me if I want to continue.

  • Challenging workouts

    I’ve been enjoying the SBTD workouts — going into my third month. They have taken the guess work out of my lifting program. I find the workouts very balanced with a lot of flexibility to help you reach your individual goals. The app is easy to use and the interface is attractive. I appreciate being able to choose which day I want to complete. I also like having the demos integrated so I can make sure I am doing the correct exercise.

    The app also provides some general guidance for weights based on your training maxes which is helpful.

    Love it and highly recommend!

  • Training has been so easy

    I’ve been using this program for two years, and this app for about a year now. It’s been so simple to keep in my pocket and walk into a gym and not feel lost.
    I used to go on my own adjusting my training maxes, but because it’s built into the app I’ve noticed I’ve been doing even better consistently.
    I also really like how the app adds warm ups & even conditioning. For the price you’re getting so much extra which is great. I’ve loved being on this program and the app has really stepped it up a few hundred notches! ✨

  • Love the program!! App needs some tweaks

    I started doing this program in 2019- it’s the only workout program I’ve ever stuck with. It’s easy to follow, comes with an amazing supportive community, and, most importantly, is effective.
    The app is a huge improvement over the previous website version and I love that it tracks my weights for me- and calculates my lifts. The only thing That could be improved is if it had fewer bugs (sometimes it’s super slow to load or crashes). Still, it’s improved so much since the launch, so I have faith it’ll get over those hurdles. Thanks Meg!

  • Favorite Workout App

    This workout app has been one of the most motivating I’ve ever used. I’m relatively new to strength training compared to many, but the resources housed in the app make it a very comprehensive plan to follow. My favorite feature is having your last recorded weight for an exercise right there when the exercise comes around again so you know exactly what weight to pick up to continually progress. Also love the pre-calculated % of max weights readily available!

  • Great app and great program

    Love the program and this app makes it really easy to see what weights I need to do for each exercise and to track my progress.
    I like that it reminds you of what weight and reps you did last time you did the exercise. No more leafing through all the pages of my notebook to find it!
    Would be even better with offline support so that I can move from one block to the other even when I am in the areas of the gym with no signal.

  • Great app. In love

    I’m using stronger by the day to gain muscle as well as lose 50+ lbs. it helps me to stay consistent and I’m excited to go to the gym every time I go because I have a plan and don’t feel confused. I love that the exercises are demonstrated and also has substitutions that you can even replace in your daily workout to log. I love raising my training maxes and seeing my stats raise. I’ve been watching megsquats since I started my body recomp journey and love supporting her. I will be getting her buff chick products soon:)
