  • Difficult at beginning

    When first using App it was so confusing and not as User friendly as it was very difficult navigating or knowing where to go to get the info I needed.
    I thought it extremely confusing as to WHY I had to open 2 separate apps to access appointments and communicating with my Doctors. It is crazy confusing when ordering med refills as well, just to find that none of the Drs nor Staff have had any training (or proper training) on how to use or manage refills, messages and emails.
    Besides that the boxes to check are far too small as well as menu … UGH!
    I’m am getting better at using it but still have difficulties that become frustrating.

    I am so grateful for this technology sometimes it’s hard for me to get to my appointment and all I need to do is talk to the doctor over the phone or ask a question and I think that if y’all guys can still talk to me and bill my insurance like a regular visit. Well then it’s a win-win, my nurses and doctors in front staff have always been good to me there. I’ve only been with you guys for a short time,I am making Waynesboro my home. I came from Newport News, Virginia and it’s very well. It’s a dirty city in sometimes the service there isn’t much cleaner have blessed day.

  • Great Visit

    Today was my very first visit CHS Physician Services! This was the absolute Best care I’ve received from check in to my visit! The care and kindness is simply Amazing!!! Linden Hagemann NP was excellent with my visit today. She was very engaged and very informative with me . Her knowledge and encouragement made me feel comfortable and inspired to reach my health goals! She and her team are very supportive and a pleasure to be around. This will be my team forever! Thank you Linden for Amazing visit today!!

  • Excellent

    I really enjoy having the ability to communicate with my provider about any changes and needs before I schedule appointment. They reply in a timely manner and I have access to my records orders. Recommend downloading this app. It has tons of features and is very convenient better than calling the office and having to wait on hold.

  • Wrong language

    I was sent a check in document in Spanish via the app and i can find no option to change language and cannot find email or phone number for help so i will just check in when i get to the office. So far i have found no value having this app on my phone, it just takes up space with no value add over using the portal online via a browser.
    App logs me out after very short time and every time i log back in takes me through the same introductory pages before i can even see a menu. Overall poor design, waste of space on my phone.

    Hello, thank you for your feedback. We are working to roll out additional features that match what a patient is able to do on their Patient Portal in future versions of the app. The self check-in document should be sending in your preferred language. The app does fully log a user out after inactivity, similar to how banking apps will log you complete out due to inactivity, to protect your health information.     There is a word that can be used to describe having your Medical Calendar, To/From Communication Options as well as Current and Historical multi-discipline reporting, as well as many other important functions, available immediately with a simple touch.

    That word is 'Awesome'!

  • Excellent App

    I saw my doctor and had already downloaded the App yesterday in preparation for this visit. I was able to do everything on the app PRIOR to the appointment and at check in the only thing that was needed was my ID. The office efficiency was superb. One hour later, I was asked to confirm my appointments AND my visit note were available! I am in awe!!! What an efficient system. Congratulations for such excellent communication!!

    PS: I am a retired Neonatalolist and work as a Medical Service Officer at Matthew’s Hope Ministries, an outreach service center for Homeless population in central Florida. We are expanding our medical home services for our homeless clients and exploring EHR!

    I absolutely LOVE my Doctors who work through WSP! They are GREAT! They are very patient, understanding, and thorough with every visit! They are so professional that I got my Boyfriend to see my PCP! He loves her (Micayla Lyons) too! I highly recommend WSP for ALL of your medical needs! If you need an Endocrinologist, go see Dr Zeidan! She is absolutely Awesome! Both Dr’s are easy to talk to and are personable!

  • Responsiveness

    I like the fact that my providers get back to me very quickly when I send messages it makes changing appointments or canceling appointments so much easier is very flexible and the provider always checks it so I never had to worry about if they received that or not if I need any prescriptions filled or refilled I can send a message and they get right on top of it. It’s the best app I’ve ever dealt with when it comes to healthcare.

  • Disconnected every time

    I get disconnected off the app and have to log back into my account every time I open it. It’s super inconvenient. Other than that happy with the app.

    Edit: thanks for your response, though on banking apps I can set up Face ID once and never have to enter my informations again - with this app I have to enter credentials in an in app browser every time and go through confirming my health records and providers. I think this can be improved.

    Hello, thank you for reaching out. The athenaPatient app logs you out by default if you close the app or are inactive. This is a security feature to protect your health information, similar to how a banking app logs you out due to inactivity and requires a full login to access again.
