  • Does More Than Keep Passwords but it does that well!

    I have used this app for many years. The keeps getting better and is a solid performer. There may other apps that “look” better but I can’t find one that is better in features and performance. The ability to customize categories and type, along with having plenty of customizable fields, attachments (don’t underestimate this feature) plus notes. With all of this it becomes the place where you can keep more than just passwords but all important critical info.

    The app performs. I don’t experience crashes and I access across a variety of platforms.

  • Waaay back

    I have records in SplashID going back to the late 90’s when I was using it on the Palm Pilot, and my PowerBook G3. I have had a few glitches, mainly with crossing platforms and major architecture changes but they were always resolved. Given the drastic changes that have occurred over the past 2 decades, I’d say that’s pretty good.

    I wish it did a few more things, like integrate with TouchID on my new MacBook, but that’s not worth knocking off a star to diminish all the service I have gotten from this app over its lifetime.

  • Custom Field Names Always Corrupting

    I have used this app for years but I find that when I rename fields they are corrupted the next time I use the app. There also seems to be a lot lag when trying to save and edit records.
  • We rely on this app. Poor performance and crashes are not acceptable.

    An app that holds all your passwords needs to be 100% reliable. The last version crashed repeatedly when trying to log in. The app was pulled from the store for around 2 weeks. No explanation, no emails with workarounds or apologies, nothing. Poor effort guys. Do a better job.
  • Paid but locked out

    I hope SplashID read reviews as they are obviously not reading their support emails. My app tells me that my subscription has ended but the auto renew payment has already been taken out of my bank account, when I try and renew again through the app it tells me I’m already subscribed!!!??? then says transaction failure and I remain locked out of my own passwords... this is truly an unbelievable situation and SplashID have not responded to my emails. I recommend staying well clear of this app; I’ve spent almost £30 with them and I can’t even access my passwords!

  • Worst password app ever

    I have been using this app for several years and for the past two years, I have been double charged to renew. This creates a big problem trying to be reimbursed. In addition, when entering in the passcode if ANY errors are made it is EXTREMELY difficult to correct. Example - last month and this month I entered in one incorrect key, which is an easy error to make on a smart device. After I typed in the correct password a message shows the CORRECT password as incorrect. Basically, they have made it extremely difficult to correct any errors when entering data. There is an option to obtain a hint via email - the problem? The hint has unfamiliar characters that are NOT on the keyboard!!!

    Do NOT get this app.

  • Wonderful App!

    I have been using SplashID since my Palm Pilot-Tungsten E2 days, and have found this app indispensable. It allows me to shed my easy passwords for stronger passwords that I can save in the app memory bank. My only request is that the developers find a way to use FaceID on my Air2 iPad, like I do on my iPhone. If I slip on my digit, SplashID requires that I log-in using the password and because I have made the password to SplashID difficult, I usually have to stop and then look-up the password, other than that a great app to download.

  • Doesn’t sync

    I have used this product for years because I couldn’t find anything better but it DOES NOT SYNC ACROSS PLATFORMS (Macs and iPhones). I have been working with their lousy tech support again for months now and they can’t make it work. I’ve had this problem for years. The data gets out of sync and their solution is to manually enter the missing records into each instance that is missing the records. WHY AM I PAYING $20 per year for a product that doesn’t work as advertised.

    They tried to tell me it was probably because I had some records marked as “local only” but I didn’t. Then they said export a CSV from the one that had the most records and import it into the others. This didn’t take into account that the largest one didn’t necessarily have ALL of my records, which it didn’t.

    They don’t know what they are doing. I’ve finally given up and switched to Enpass. Sync seems to work and it’s only a one time cost, not annual, and will pay for itself in just over a year. Plus it can import my SplashID data.

    Good riddance.

  • Great App Unless Used on iPhone or iPad

    Even though I purchased a lifetime pass, I can no longer recommend this app. While it works great on my Windows desktop, it continuously rearranges fields and symbols in individual records (seemingly at random). I’ve submitted multiple technical support reports over the past couple of years, which have never been resolved. I’ve noticed I am not alone in experiencing this issue, as an Internet search quickly shows many instances of this type of problem. A workaround is to have every record with identically named fields and use the same logo for all of the records. This way, the app will not rearrange field names (and I’ve never had an issue where the content of the fields has been revised). Unfortunately, this means you cannot customize individual records. Sadly, I will need to migrate my records over to another app and start paying again, but the current situation is no longer tenable.

  • Good program. Horrible support

    I’ve used SplashID ever since I had a Palm Treo, so I’m no novice with it. The program works well though they are always trying to upsell you. My sister, who I do tech support for, had an issue where she paid for the lifetime WiFi synch, but used the wrong email address as she has 2 addresses. So her app keeps asking her to upgrade.

    She contacted support and they cannot seem to understand how to help her. They keep telling her to go on her computer and connect, but she does not even have the app on her computer, just on her iPhone. There is a day or 2 or more delay between replies, and instead of reading thru the issue, they just keep saying the same thing over and over.

    I would think twice before purchasing this app if you think you may need support, because theirs is definitely lacking.
