Farmers insurance
I previously had National General Insurance. I have to use roadside assistance quite often as my car is old and has some wiring issues and so sometimes lights get left on when I don't know they're on. I had roadside assistance through my policy but it would take 5+ hours to get my car jumped in my driveway when I was with National General. That was after an hour on the phone trying to get them to get them to my home and by then my blood pressure was exponentially higher than it was when I started. So one dead battery would ruin my entire day.
Yesterday was the first time I used roadside assistance with Farmers insurance. Through the app, I was able to file the claim, get roadside assistance to my home within a half an hour no stress. No raised blood pressure. No apologizing to people on the phone because I'm getting frustrated. Lol You should switch if you're not with Farmers. Farmers Homeowners Insurance
I have had Homeowners plus Automobile Insurance since the 1990’s, first with Met Life and then Farmers Insurance when they took over home and casualty. I started paying online with the Apple app in early 2023. Toward the end of 2023, there must have been a glitch in the system software. My auto premium was paid off in November. In December I made the online payment for homeowners premium. For some reason the payment was applied to my auto policy (which had a zero balance) unbeknownst to me. In late December I got a letter saying my homeowners policy was overdue and they were charging me a late fee of $25. After several phone calls, the Customer Service representative was able to reapply the premium payment to the correct policy and the $25 fee was reversed. This same problem continues every month that I use the app to pay. It doesn’t help when I’m out of the country for several months. FRUSTRATING!Show lessMcBee 6

Don’t miss a payment or you’ll have to pay for a year up front
I’ve been a customer with farmers for 14 years. Home, two autos, motorcycle, boat, umbrella policy’s through them. I have never once filed a claim. I tried to cancel an auto policy with them through the app. Five months later noticed I was still getting charged. I called in and requested to cancel the policy with a refund for the past five months. Submitted a signed letter to request cancelation. They said they couldn’t refund the past five months. Okay, Whatever. A year later I was still getting charged for that auto policy. It took multiple phone calls to get it canceled and they keep telling me they’ll look into a refund for the year since I submitted the request to cancel. It’s been another 4 months and I have not been refunded the over charge. Only demanded to pay my auto policy for a full 12 months in advance since I missed one payment last year.

Devastating DEE
I appreciate my agent (Peter) for assisting me in acquiring insurance through Farmers Insurance which is much lower than I was previously paying with GEICO. Peter helped me acquire a renter’s insurance policy as well which was also added to my new automobile insurance policy. My coverages for my vehicle policy were also increased and with both policies in effect…They are way more affordable than I was paying for just one vehicle. I’m pleased to say the least and very grateful for an opportunity to work together with Farmers Insurance as my new Vehicle and Renter’s Insurer provider. The Best Insurance Company
I moved from my parents home to my home, first time being on my own. I got married, had my daughter , got divorced. I had some work done on my bathroom. They installed a ceiling vent that eventually caught on fire. My daughter and I couldn’t stay in the home that night, so we got a hotel. The next day Farmers came to my home to access the damage. They got us a place to stay. They took care of everything. Farmers really stepped up and gave me peace of mind. When I relay my story to others, they have this look in their faces, like “I should’ve signed up with Farmers”. Thank you Farmers for being there!Show lessDancingoffkey
This app makes life easier!!!
I can’t begin to say how much I love having this app. At 7:45 last night my husband was suddenly in excruciating kidney pain. He's had stones before so we figured it was that. I rushed him into the car because urgent care was closing at 8. Halfway down the road I hit a deer. With the brand new 2024 car. It was drivable so I had to keep going to get him to urgent care in time. Because I have this app I was able to turn that into insurance while I was in the waiting room- pictures and all. This morning I wake up to a missed call from him- he got a flat tire on the way to work with the OTHER vehicle. It needs to be towed. I pulled up the app again- got ahold of a rep- already sending someone out to assist. This makes life so much easier at the most stressful times!!!!!Show lessmaxhasasidehustle
Dump Farmers Bc Claims process is a joke.
The app estimate for collision will send you an offer for less than the parts. They hope you take the first offer. Don’t do it. Get your quotes as you normally do with any other insurance company. Their claims negotiators use negative connotations and buzz words that absolutely made me suspect of their greed. Should they have made a decent offer I would have taken the check BUT since they want to low ball I’m taking advantage of the whole process, body shop repairs and car rental for the duration of the repairs. I suggest you do the same if you just so happen to get into a wreck. I’ll shop a different company for insurance right when my deal is over and done. Farmers has a scam going and servicing their clients isn’t in their focus from my standpoint.Show lessweed and mow
Spiro Farmers Office
Let me tell you every since my original office got shut down and everything got switched over to the Spiro office with Brian Brooks I actually have had a few issues because of the switch but Kaelynn(I probaly didn’t spell that right) she has knocked it out of the park she has went above and beyond to get things fixed and to make sure that I’m getting all discounts possible. She is awesome. If only every insurance agency had a few of her. And I have to give Brian credit he has been super helpful and professional and friendly and they are just good people there. Farmers is great, unless you actually need to use them
Farmers has been a great insurance company to me for nearly 15 years. It is a great company, until you need to actually use your policy. I am a single mother and I was excited to buy my first home in June if 2020. Little did I know I would have 2 incidents nearly a year later so close to each other. One incident being a slow chronic water leak in my master bathroom (that apparently was missed at inspection) that caused the trap to allow cockroaches through, resulting in extensive work including frame work, drywall, tire repair and a new bathroom vanity. Second, water heater sprung a leak and water flooded all over my garage and into my home, resulting in more drywall repairs and needing to rebuild garage built in cabinets. So I get a notification that I am unable to renew my homeowners insurance through Farmers, here I am, a multiple policy holder and customer for nearly 15 years, why? Because I has to actually use my home insurance policy for incidences that were out of my control. I would say this is bad and unprofessional business.Show lessBusySportsMom31
