  • App needs some work

    I have always liked Cracker Barrel‘s food, but using this app is frustrating. It shouldn’t be that hard to order food. My wife and I attempt to use this app traveling. Look ahead on Google maps and find a Cracker Barrel that’s convenient for us and then order out. It’s always frustrating. Have one of your developers look at the Chick-fil-A app. That’s a great app.

    Submitting an update to my review as of July 7, 2024. This remains possibly the worst app I have ever used. Spent 20 minutes trying to order food couldn’t get it submitted wound up at the store before my wife could submit an order from the passenger seat in the car. Oh my gosh. Oh, and don’t mention the fact that you can’t save a credit card so it takes forever to try to get food.

  • Poorly Functioning

    Out of all the tens of thousands of apps out there, you wouldn’t think this one could be so strangely and inconveniently different, but it is.
    I cannot imagine an older person (those are the majority of ppl who eat at Cracker Barrel) trying to navigate through this app and enjoying it.
    It never signs me in the first time. Always takes two tries, sometimes more. Never leaves me signed in.
    Once I go to the rewards page, or any other page of the app, there’s no way to get back to where I was before. Most often, the navigation menu at the bottom disappears I have to close the app and reopen to go to a different part of the app.
    It’s absolutely ridiculous and I thought by now this would have been fixed. It’s 2024 ppl, if you’re going to force your employees to push this app on ppl it needs to work properly.

  • This is the buggiest app I have

    The only reason I’m even using the app is because it’s cheaper to order on than Uber Eats. The spins that I was supposed to get didn’t work at all. Just glitched out and used up my spins. I was trying to add items to my cart, and they took a solid minute to actually show up in the cart. The app freezes up for no reason. Can’t save passwords. For some stupid reason, a national company doesn’t have apple or google pay??? The checkout screen kept giving error codes as well. Can’t easily back up to change between delivery or pick up either. We eventually just used the app on my fiancé’s phone, which was also buggy, because we wanted to make changes, but didn’t want to risk screwing up the entire order.

    The look of the app is fantastic! But it’s barely functional. I have no idea how they have so many 5 star reviews. It’s a mess.

  • Love Cracker Barrel

    I just wanted to give a quick shout out about how much I love Cracker Barrel’s food and gift shop. I unfortunately had a bad accident a few weeks ago and broke my wrist and my tailbone /pelvis. I am know recovering at a rehab facility for a short while. Cracker Barrel has been a true blessing to me during this time. I have been able to order from your app and have it delivered to me. The food at this rehab place is awful!! So having some delicious Cracker Barrel meals delivered to me a few times a week has been great and a very much needed blessing!! Thanks!!

  • My favorite breakfast spot

    This is my favorite breakfast spot. I usually always get 2 sides of hash brown casserole and in occasional the sampler. My only rant is when the has brown casserole has been sitting under the warming light and it gets hard on top. They will still serve it even though it’s very hard and my teeth are sensitive so I can’t eat it. Sometimes it’s hard and it equals almost a serving I paid for. So that’s money down the drain because I can’t eat it. I know there’s a time limit allotted and I wish they wouldn’t serve it if it’s this hard. Other than that, this is my go-to.

  • Buggy App

    Used this app a few times and each time it’s terrible. Their website is marginally better for ordering. Today ordered at my normal store, but decided to check my order before hitting confirm and it was completely different from what I selected. Redid my order and confirmed it was correct and then hit order. Somehow my order in the app said the correct location but sent to another entirely different location.

    The store could also not find my order at all. Manager was nice and helped but how does this app have two different locations for an order and it can’t be located? Money was taken out but no record of the order?

    The app will also reset your order multiple times to something completely different, and often times get a pop up stating this item isn’t available at this store but then show up in the cart? Hire more engineers to help fix this.

  • “Something with wrong”

    This is probably the worst app I have ever used. When trying to place an order it just spins and spins and then an error message pops up. Then, I close the app and when I open it the food will usually show there is something in the cart but when it gets clicked on the screen is blank. I had to open and close it 4 times just to get all the orders in the cart and for it to show up. Finally I tried to check out and after putting my info in and checkout it kept spinning and spinning and then popped up an error message. After trying 3 more times I finally stopped and ordered from a different restaurant with an app that works smoothly. They need to find someone that knows how to make an app that can operate.

  • Terrible app

    I’ve had this app for a long time. Not once have I been able to just open it and place my order. I usually have to fight with it 20 minutes before I actually get my ordered placed. It seems to be different issues each time. Today it wanted me to sign up for the rewards program. I didn’t care to, but it was determined I would. I filled out the info but there was no submit button. So I was stuck in that page. I closed it, reopened, and still on the that page. I deleted the app and re-downloaded. Opened up right on that same page. So, I just deleted it for good. I went to the website and ordered from there. Surely an organization as big as Cracker Barrel can afford competent app developers.

    Curbside service and the food are great or I wouldn’t bother at all.

  • Look out! You’re $$ don’t count if you pay at table

    So frustrating. Just realized that using the quick “Pay at Table” even when you are logged into the app, as soon as you scan that barcode it takes you out to the online portal and you would have to log in again.

    Asked to have my bill added to the rewards at the cashier and was told no, you have to call corporate.

    Either take off pay at table because your servers are pushing both the app and pay at table, add “Pay at Table” WITHIN THE APP, or, have a place to scan your receipt to add missing “pegs”.

  • Pretty lousy. Seriously.

    I used to love paying at the table on the app….BUT, you don’t get rewards points!!!!!! They are pushing their rewards program so hard but it’s very very useless. Unbelievable that you don’t get points paying on the app. Furthermore….just tried to redeem a dessert that I’ve earned rewards for (Paying st the register) and it’s just too convoluted. I gotta enter credit card info i guess just to redeem a dessert? Forget it….actually, no, I went ahead and entered my credit card…tried to checkout and then get some error…”2001: input data not Luhn compatible”???? Man….just stick to comfort food Cracker Barrel. Digital ain’t your string suit.
