For the most part this is a great app but a few things I find annoying:
When reconciling it would be nice if frequently used codes could be at the top of the list so you don’t have to scroll through every single one.
Being able to search for quote/invoice references or keywords from a quote would help when trying to track down a quote.Show lessgt_351

Good app recently started using, a little bit disappointed with the mobile app as it doesn’t give me a clear cash flow visual and the display is a little boring to look at, I was originally using the freeagent app but my accountant advised me to switch to this to enable easy integration with him
It would be nice to see some more cash flow charts and reports for clear profit/ loss indication and maybe a more colourful display on the mobile platform

Great application, I enjoy it.
I have two pet hates,
1. I have lost hours of invoice material by forgetting to save before exiting Xero program. Is there a way to remind or alert user to save when exiting program. Also if I receive a phone call while doing an invoice on my phone I lose the info.
2. Price has gone up every year since I’ve had it, but cost of my labour has not.Show lessGggggman

Really disappointing that your app works great on some iPhones but completely unable to use on another iPhone/profile. When I open Xero app, it just flashes and closes. Cannot use it. I’m the managing director of my company and I can’t use your app. Deleted it, reinstated it over 20 times probably, still doesn’t work. Checked security and set up, change password etc. logged help desk call, no luck. The developer actually needs to look into this as a matter of urgency.Show lessandywhitey

The mobile app is ok for basic functionality, but has probably the worst approach to security I’ve ever seen.
Every time I go to use the app on a different WiFi network - and sometimes even using mobile data - I get an email telling me there was a new login (surprise surprise!), and it then restricts the already-limited functionality until I re-authenticate. It’s a stupid and aggravating process that undermines the whole purpose of a “mobile” app.
Best of all, the security alert is always wrong. In 100% of cases it tells me I’m in an entirely different city and in one case in an entirely different country. Quite how this equates with improved security is anyone’s guess.
And as other reviewers have said, doing anything of consequence - including the endless rounds of re-authentication - force you back into the browser. So all in all, this is a mobile app that (a) isn’t really mobile, and (b) doesn’t really have app functionality. Sigh.Show lessagent_john_clarke

The location is determined by the IP address which comes from your internet provider, actually nothing to do with Xero or the app. In relation to security, we take this very seriously and that’s why we offer a number of options to ensure your data is secure, you can authenticate by many means ie alternative email address, security questions as well as the an authentication app as you have stated. In relation to functionality, the app is designed to keep you connected on the go, so you can create, edit, send and even print invoices, keep track of your unpaid and overdue invoices, prepare and send quotes, reconcile your bank accounts and keep up to date with bank account balances , view profit and loss, cashflow, and bills to pay.Revolutionising my business finances!!
I had friends telling me it would change my life if I converted to xero (from spreadsheet bookkeeping). It has. Took a while to set up with the help of my accountant but now I’m familiar with it, all my previous accounts are uploaded and it feels very organised. I was definitely overwhelmed managing a growing business with paper invoicing. This system is great and I can keep on top of my accounts every day with ease. Filing the VAT return was one click! Usually it would take me a day to collate and I was always meticulous about figures but it was nerve raking getting it right.
I really recommend getting someone experienced with it to help with the setup, but after that you have a live snapshot of your business at any time. Highly recommended.Show lessguff1234

This app is essentially useless. The functionality is extremely limited, especially in comparison to QuickBooks mobile app. You can’t pull reports, see your chart of accounts, etc.Artakamoose
Unable to refresh account feeds
The inability to refresh account feeds makes this application useless for anything other than showing off the fact that it could be so much more if only this one function wasn’t overlooked. You will find yourself looking at stale data most of the time with no recourse other than to load the web version on your desktop.Show lessJay Dee Arr
