  • Error ridden App

    Lots of Oops messages. By the time it worked the seat I wanted was taken. Very frustrating and disappointing. Your seat assignment system is horrible. Two passengers booked together assigned seats apart in a plane with seats together available. A cheap trick to get people to pay more. And then the app doesn’t work. Will not fly Air Asia if other similarly priced options exist. Will not recommend Air Asia until these things are fixed. Also there are inconsistencies between your different on line portals. Too many different developers!

  • Low quality Apps

    The server is so bad that it failed to load 7-8 times when I was trying to book a flight and had to type/select details every single time after the failed. After purchase, the flight time on my tic is totally different from what I have selected on both returning flights. Tried to contact via customer support in apps but the button is just for show, nothing happen after pressing it. Live chat is an AI that only answer general question which is 0 help to me.

  • Poor Design & Hidden Cost

    I booked a flight on the app and could not view the summary before payment. It booked for an incorrect time (may have selected above or below option) along with insurance. Changing the time to correct selection around an appointment cost another 2800INR even WITH the insurance. The ticket ended up being 2x reasonable cost. I suspect this happens often with the poor design that does not allow you to view and confirm your itinerary before processing payment. Great design to earn extra money and upset customers. We won't be flying Air Asia again.

  • App has not been working for 3 days!! Cant book a flight.

    I normally like the app but it has not been working for 3 days!! Cant book a flight.. it allows me to get all the way to the payment part and then gives a unespecified error, just say to try later! Both my husband and I have tried multiple times with multiple cards and same bad result, Very frustating.

    Live aid options are useless for this purpose and there is no option to speak to a representative

    App does no have phone number to speak to a representative. It should feedback that there has an error while trying to book and contact the customer to correct the issue and help with booking.

    I will have to do it the old way and probably the flights are no longer available .. arghhh!

  • Terrible App

    I tried to use their website and had difficulties completing my booking (the payment part was a problem) so I downloaded the app. After making the booking - the payment screen returned a “500 error” but, to my surprise, it went thru. This is only part of the story...when checked my seat assignment - even though I paid for seat selection they auto assigned my seats at the very last row - so I tried to change it to a decent one but the app will not allow me to pay the difference. I was stuck in the “make payment” button that doesn’t do anything. Horrible app!!!

  • Refund

    There’s no access to ask for refund by email. You guys try to make a contact by using AVA live chat but nothing can computer do anyway with our problems, only real human can answer all of our questions! Why it’s very difficult to reach those call center?! What are you doing there?
    I’ve been repeating all the information you need to make a refund but you keep take me around and around with no final deals!!!!

  • Can’t check in or see my upcoming flights

    What is the point of this useless app? I couldn’t check in via their terrible site so downloaded the app. I’m logged in. Found my flight and booking but it won’t let me press the button to check in.
    It cannot be this hard can it?
    Tried the Big membership app, logged in then it asked me to find my membership number...strange that’s why I logged in but ok. Membership number not recognised.
    Inept doesn’t even start to cover it.

  • Could not finish booking

    I wasn’t able to finish my booking because it kept saying I had to pick a meal, but there was a problem with the App and no meal options were coming up. Then I had to go out of booking and went around all the details about 3 times with ‘AVA’ very frustratingly before I could ‘chat ‘ with someone to help. Eventually fixed but took a very long time and very frustrating.

  • Visa Credit Card Payment Issues

    Unable to pay from Visa Credit Card (Bank of Maldives) for any bookings from the beginning of this year. However, AMEX card works. Checked from our bank and they have confirmed it’s not a problem from their side. Once the credit card information is entered and confirmed the OTP, it redirects to a plan html page with an error. Looks like it is an error of your payment gateway. Please fix it soon!

  • Simplified Baggage Fees

    I love this site and the airlines. The online booking process is super simple. You can choose your options like meals and seat assignments. Best of all, you don’t need a PhD in Business or Physics to decipher baggage fees! The cost of flights is broken down so you can choose less expensive days to fly. Highly recommend this app and airline.
