App switches time zones on you
I booked a 2:20 pm coach from Heathrow to Bath through the app while I was still in the USA. I received an email with the 2:20pm confirmation. However when I got to the bus station, the app changed the departure time to 7:20pm!
I had to wait in line to get someone to double check the times for me. The 2:20pm was what they had in their system. How frustrating!Show lessLintjeLintje

My husband and I are from America (me from Holland originally)
We traveled from Amsterdam by train to London Stansted Airport.
There I purchased a bus ticket to our hotel in Covent Garden.
There was no direct bus to there so I bought a ticket to Liverpool street station.
From the airport machine.
£20.00 for 2
The line waiting to get on was long and the bus smelled sooooooo bad like urine.
My hubby and I got off at the first stop.
I called the number on the ticket to get my money back and fix the urine smell issue.
Even the guy who helped us giving our bag back was aware of the smell.
He told me to call and complain for sure.
Finally when I got someone on the phone he couldn’t find my ticket but they had already taken the money from my account.
He told me to definitely complain and leave a review etc online.

Terrible bunch of drivers, ridiculous services
How do you operate a service and not giving customers the option to complain about your ridiculous services and drivers. Your useless service is consistently late, sometimes 45 mins with no reason. It takes 2 mins to drive from Sophia Gardens to Castle Street, yet stupid drivers would turn up 45 mins late, with no apology or regard to customers. Anyone who has an appointment should avoid this service by all means
Services are appalling. Coaches never leaves or arrives on time. Drivers have no regards for commuters. Customer Service absolute rubbish, you’ll be lucky to get someone to answer your calls after holding on for like an hour. The dumbest app ever. Sort it outShow lessMarcdaddy12
Poorly tested App
One year later - July 2018 and the calendars are still incorrect. You have to work out which date to choose to get your travel date to appear correctly. When I complained, the Customer service rep suggested I should check dates on every screen in case they are incorrect and said i have to pay for an amendment.Show lessVegasJC
Session expired
I have a trip I want to book 4 days onwards. During the process the app kept saying ‘Session expired’. Finally got the screen where I inserted all my personal info and cannot get further than that. ‘Session expired’ every time.

Your app calendar for 2018 is completely wrong
Last time I checked 1st May 2018 is on a Tuesday not a Friday
You would think you would at least get that correct

While the cost of taking a coach may be financially cheap the cost of booking one on your time, energy and effort is huge. I’m not sure anyone who works for the national express actually takes their coaches, because if they did, and had to use this app, they’d want it fixed fast. Never before in my life have I accidentally booked the wrong time of transport, not realised until the confirmation email and just had to work around it. Please who ever is designing and building this, load up the trainline app and display your coaches and searches like that. Or Citymapper, or anything, but not what you have now! It’s slow, confusing and unusable! If you want more people to book more coaches this needs to be as easy as possible!Show lessStiviewevie
