  • Terrible app, even worse customer support

I have 6 missions. All 6 of them are active on the web site, meaning I can “check in” to all 6 missions on the web site. However, I can only check in to 3 of the 6 missions on the app. The other 3 missions indicate the mission is “completed”. I have submitted screen shots to customer support demonstrating what the missions I can check in to on the app look like and how the missions I cannot check in to on the app differ. Those screen shots clearly show that I am unable to check in, and the app has not tracked anything for those 3 missions in a month. Yet I was told by customer support there was “no problem”. Clearly there is.

What good is the app if you have to log on to the web site to check in to some of the missions. Worthless app and extremely poor customer service.

  • Good for your goals

It’s a good app you can sign up for daily goals to work on personally for a example call a friend, walk 3 miles, or 2000 steps, manage your mental health this app gives you so many options that can help you if you don’t have a set goal it’s easy to use you just got to comit you do it on your own so you feel no pressure but it makes you think about you and your health, also you can do a biometric screening and get a compensation for it and you can also get rewards by simply completing missions check it out yourself.

  • I like the idea but missing key helpful features

I like the app as recently where I work we have a challenge for steps etc. I really love the app and I like the idea but it’s lacking in reallly important features and functions that make this very unrealistic. It’s a nice idea and a great start but entering into each section meant to help has a check in time and reminders as well as recording results and making notes or journals and diaries...none of which are seamlessly integrated into the app to open from that category and use. It’s more time consuming and tedious to have to log out and go to your notes in iPhone and write a memo in a timely and efficient manner especially working in a sales environment where your schedule is never a set schedule and you have to give customer service and do sales... build the important functions to make this app a grand master piece other than that it’s no diff that anything else thieving ideas but unable to help. Also tracking steps... I wear a series 4 Apple Watch that tracks my work outs or indoor eliptical/indoor run. It only gives the option to use the Apple Watch and that’s it or just the iPhone... you think I’m gonna carry a iPhone xsmax on an elliptical and wave it around so it will calculate my steps-_- . If I just choose the iPhone it will be placed in front of me while I run and won’t track a thing...very aggravating and needs a fixin. Other than that it’s a cute idea but cute ideas don’t cut it only while grand ones make it big.

  • Great motivator!

I love this app! It’s a great motivator if your having a hard time getting started on a workout routine. It gets you up and moving, with little baby steps. You pick the areas that you wanna work on and the app sends you little reminder messages to get up and moving whether it’s walking lifting weights or just doing something active for a few minutes. I also like that you can set up the Reminders to go off once a week twice a week or seven days a week the app leaves it up to you. I also like the gym reimbursement through my employer it’s also a great motivator when that money is deposited into your bank account just for working out!

  • Good App But Needs To Be Updated in Some Areas

I downloaded this app awhile ago when our employer distributed paperwork with our insurance program. I kind of forgot about it bc it didn’t really do much for me.

We just told last week that some changes were made so I went back in. The daily activities are kind of fun and while yes, some people can cheat. I find that it helps me stay on focus with my parallel weight loss program.

My one criticism is that your water tracking is very outdated. No one really tracks cups of water any more - they track in ounces. I already use a water tracker app and it offers standard water bottle sizes (16.9, 17, 20 ounces) plus you can customize it yourself. To track in Rally, I have to convert my total ounces to cups and round it down. The developer should change this feature to get with the times.

Also, you should allow a user to enter data daily. I forgot to enter my water intake one night before bed and had to enter it the next day along with the total I drank that day. While in the scheme of things it washes out, it would just be nice for someone to see their daily water intake. I would also suggest you not make that one a challenge-make it an actual feature of the app.

  • Motivating

I feel more motivated and I allowed reminders so it keeps me thinking about goals. I think the idea is positive reinforcement of new and better habits so that’s how I am using this app. I like it for that. I don’t really expect to get rewards like stuff. I feel like that’s too good to be true so I try to dread clear but what is important is forming better habits and I like that a lot. So thanks for that Rally.
Although one complaint is I run and work out but Rally thinks I need more exercise which is funny and it put me at 46 but I’m only 42 and I look maybe 35-40. So I could live without that feature. It’s dumb and defeats the purpose. 🤷🏼‍♀️

  • Bad Experience (UPDATED)

App is alright if a bit buggy; be wary of the rewards programs. After being given some misinformation by a coach during a wellness program I was told I was ineligible for the advertised reward upon completion because it was not completed in a specific window of time. Mind you I committed to a program for five months and completed all of the tasks.

Speaking with Optum Health reps made it apparent that they did not care and were more interested in proving me wrong than trying to empathize with a client who they had misinformed at the outset. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but the customer service left such a bad taste in my mouth that I had to speak on it. They simply do not care about their clients.

Update 6/3: two Rally reps did reach out to me today and the interaction was night and day from the prior one I had. The reps treated me respectfully and gave me a partial credit. More so, they made me feel as if they saw me as an actual person - which is all we’re really looking for. I have changed my review from 1 star to 3 to reflect this pleasant (and unexpected) resolution.

  • RAH RAH RALLY!!!...

So I am a 57 year old female who is really trying hard to get healthier and stay that way. I lost my 30 year old daughter to breast cancer (no fault of hers; just genetics)10 years ago Saturday, March 23rd. While it still hurts you know I thought of what I’m trying to do and thought hey “ I’m doing this for me, and in memory of my daughter!”

I love the fact that Rally really is encouraging, cheers me on, and makes me feel like I’m really important-Wait; what? I am important! And am committed to doing the best that I can to achieve ALL of my goals.

If you need a site (Health Wise), that’s going to cheer you to the finish line, then RALLY is your site. Every time I complete a mission I’m encouraged to do more. Thank you to the inventors of RALLY......Stretching out for my goals has never been easier or more rewarding-literally!!!!....

  • Wellness App to Help Stay on Track

This app has numerous functions and takes a while to figure out how it works but it has many nice features to keep tracking your well-being in a easy and entertaining app.

I enjoy most the daily missions. I see them as customizable daily goals. I go in once or twice a day to review and check off the daily missions I’ve completed for the day. There are numerous daily missions to chose from and seeing them daily are friendly reminders that can help you stay on track for the long haul.

  • Activity tracking painful and auctions are ridiculous

While I want to get healthier, this app wears on you to a point it becomes demotivating. At least two times a day you need to resynchronize you health tracking device with this app. Its just like at any time it disassociates your step tracking. Additionally it does not track any other health stats like weight or heart rate that can easily be tracked yet its just a check, yea I did it.

As far as the coins, for the 15 or so items in the marketplace is a good starter but after 3 months, not one change to the marketplace, this should be constantly rotating to encourage you to keep going. But the biggest disappointment is the auctions. On average auctions costing 250,000 coins, that is like 10 years of tracking activity, might as well say you will never be able to buy anything in auction.

App just requires a relook at what its really suppose to do, encourage or discourage you becoming healthier. Currently long term it discourages you.
