What's New in Clarity

5.5.27

October 10, 2026

New: Dynamic Journaling. As you write, the AI Journal can now highlight a thinking trap, weigh the pros and cons of a decision, or map a hard moment step by step. Each piece appears only when it fits, then one more question keeps you writing. Minor bug fixes and improvements.

Very helpful

I can use CBT and ACT. The AI could be better if it showed practical tips

Not for Panic Attacks

While anxious and overwhelmed, this app continuously fired increasingly abstract questions at me. It forced me to over analyze a situation when what I needed was help getting out of the overthinking loop. It turned my anxiety into homework and wanted me to keep reopening the issue instead of helping me settle. Free trial will be cancelled and definitely not subscribing for $60. I would not use this app even if it were 100% free.

Great for BPD

I’ve struggled with borderline personality disorder for years, and as anyone with my illness knows how hard it can be to control your emotions. Once you start ruminating they snowball into a seemingly unnecessary panic. This app allows me to pause, unravel my thoughts and decode the emotions behind them. It helps me ground myself, and put a stop to black and white thinking. Furthermore, it includes many valuable resources such as breath work and educational materials that inform me on the inner workings of my mental struggles. Amazing tool for those looking to heal and learn about themselves.

Bait and switch

I signed up for the free week trial, but before I had a chance to use it for the week it automatically enrolled me in their monthly subscription of over $50. Without asking for consent or if I wanted to proceed. Huge rip off, I’ve never had this happen with an app before. Proceed with caution if you want to test this.
