Was doing good honest business

And they still deactivated the account and made it absolutely ridiculous contacting customer service

The app is archaic

Long time user. Good idea but app on phone is pathetic. Can’t wait to change to something that feels new, feels like an actual phone app, something modern

Nothing work

Everything hard to find , customer support trash, webpage trash , 2-3 time than button doesn't work. Hard to cancell the plan.

Predatory app

Dialpad started making unauthorized charges after subscription was canceled. Called about these charges and management looked for excuses instead of resolution, unacceptable.

Horrible app don’t waste your time or money

Dialpad is atrocious. The app lags on calls and disconnects or completely misses an answered call altogether. Very inefficient for productivity. Text will not send consecutively and screw up the momentum of conversation between a client creating a very confusing situation. Nothing but headaches using this app. Customer support is nonexistent. They take your issues but do not actually do anything about it. Also takes forever for them to respond. They try to not give their support information online and make you have to dig for it. Once you do get a hold of someone it’s a group overseas who does not communicate very well. Would certainly go with a different app other than this.

Bum app

I’d give zero stars if I could

One fatal flaw

Dialpad is a good tool except for the fact that it cannot do the basic task of sending or receiving MMS messages. These days, it is universally assumed that all mobile phone numbers can receive a picture text, right? My customers often send me something that goes into a black hole. I don’t receive it and they think I’m ignoring their messages. If we figure out the last text, I have to embarrassingly admit that my mobile number can’t receive texts. I am quite sure that this can be enabled if Dialpad paid their carrier for this inclusion, but they choose not to and instead hide behind an excuse of regulatory and technical limitations. They have been “working on it” for over 3 yrs now.

Trash

This app is absolute garbage. Lags like crazy, calls drop all the time. Ring Central has by far surpassed this product. Customer support for Dialpad is awful they really don’t care to fix the problem just send you on your way. Waste of time

Great technical service; terrible billing support

From a technical standpoint, Dialpad works very well. We can receive inbound calls from the 1300 number and direct mobile number, as well as SMS. It does not support MMS in Australia, which is a shortcoming of this service.

From a billing perspective, we have had so many issues with overcharges for the incorrect service. For example we have been charged for over 12 months for an unlimited international call service which we have never used.

Despite multiple emails, attempts with their web chat (terrible; don’t waste your time) and phone calls, we have been charged over $300 for this service, which we are not even able to cancel from our self managed portal… you have to contact the billing team - who the customer service team have advised - don’t answer the phone and only communicate via email.

The simple fact is that they have, on multiple occasions, received a verbal and written direction to cancel the service and refund the overcharges. However, after over 12 months, that is still not been actioned and we remain to be charged for that every month.

Whilst the platform and technology are great, I would be very wary of the unresponsive billing team.

The funny thing is, I was only reminded of these overcharges as I went to take out a subscription for another license.

The reality is if this isn’t resolved in the next 48 hours, we will be taking our business to another provider.

Terrible app that puts you in a viscous loop with no customer support

I signed up for a free trial with dial pad, it took my credit card, then locked me out of my account where I can’t even cancel. Trying to login brings me to the same screen every time, and so does clicking on the support link from my email. Terrible app.

Great app

Great app to use with my therapy clients to contact them.

Promo box hampers visiblity

There’s a rather annoying pop-up box at the top of the app, despite you closing this off it reappears every time you open the app.

By this being displayed, it cuts off important parts of the app until you close it.

It’s a minor annoyance but it does make things more difficult.

It’s basically a promotional message, which appears to try to get you to buy one of their SMS packages.

I can’t upload a screenshot of this on this review, but if it gets fixed, I will come back and upgrade this review to a five star review.

Poor quality

Do not sign up and waste. Your money has a hard time making connecting calls.

Lacks MMS / Picture Texting

My customers don’t know I’m using a VOIP and I shouldn’t have to tell them. But with Dialpad, if anyone tries sending me a photo or other MMS message, it goes nowhere. The customer feels ignored and it frequently causes problems. Dialpad were meant to add this functionality years ago but it never happened. They would rather save a few dollars with their supplier and offer a substandard service in Australia.

They put a pay wall if you want to sync your contacts.

Should’ve gone with Ring Center. They let you share your contacts from your phone but don’t let you pick a different source unless you pay. What kind of phone service doesn’t allow you to pick your source for contacts? Contacts are essential if you’re going to be on the phone. Even at the lowest level it should let you pick a source. If I would’ve known I would’ve gone with Ring Center.

Worst of them all

So sad that with all the tech available this is still the most inefficient way to make calls or send messages. Guaranteed you can’t find a thread conversation. Messages sent from three spots in the app, but don’t actually go to the client except for if they’re sent from one spot in the app, which is a nightmare. Still can’t believe how horrible the customer service is as well dealing with this process. We are in complete shock that someone recommended at us and now we see this is the worst phone app available

Small improvements would make a BIG impact.

It’s beyond me that a tech company making an app to try and make things easier yet, you can’t even do SIMPLE tasks such as change your voicemail message on the app. In fact, You can’t even use the browser on your phone. You have to log into the ACTUAL web browser ON YOUR LAPTOP/computer. This is absolutely unhelpful when you are trying to be streamlined and on the go. Also, many other little glitches that prevent my team from fully trusting in the product and leaning all the way in to using it to its full “potential”.

Worst App

This is one of the worst apps I’ve used. We miss all our communications with customers and almost impossible to navigate. Not recommended.

Can’t Use AI Recap in App

When you view an AI Recap in the app, there is no way to return to the previous screen. So the app becomes unusable. You have to force close it every time in order to get back to the main screen. They need to add a simple back button like on their other screens but they refuse to. Also, if you are a small business using this and also an Admin, you cannot see your own call recordings in the mobile or desktop app regardless of what the setting indicate you should be allowed to see. All of their effort and design to supposedly make using and communicating streamlined is met with convoluted ways of getting to useful information.

Please fix editing contact issue

Every time I edit someone’s contact it doesn’t save it off the first save. I have to redo it and then it works maybe the second or third time.

Amazing overall! amazing job code team
