Doesn’t work properly
Messages don’t come through once in a chat. You have to keep exiting the chat and going back in to refresh it and see any new messages. So stupid.
Almost useless
Audible notifications rarely work. The only way to use the app is to stare at the screen and wait for the visible banners to pop up. Also- would help to not only have working audible notifications for the start of a chat/ but the ability to get an audible notification each time a customer responds. For some odd reason customers get a ping each time an agent responds, but agents dont get a ping when customers respond. Its as if the developers have never used this app in any real world use setting. Oh , and there is a L O N G lag from the time a customer sends a chat to when it shows up in the app. I often have to close and reopen the app to get the customer responses to show up. Come on FRESHDESK- get it together!

Still feels like a prototype
Been using Freshchat for years but the app still feels like a prototype.
The fact that the app logs out after a few days and stops notifying me of customer messages is a big red flag.
The resolve status button shows an error most of the times. I don’t care about putting initial sentiment - I just want the conversation out of the way.
Cannot put links on text.
The moment there’s a competitor at same price, I’m moving immediately.

Notification Issue
Chat messages/notifications on this app are slow. This creates a confusion if the customer has replied something or not. After refreshing or restarting the app completely you can see a reply there. This gives us a lot of problem during live chat.
A good app - when you can get into it
Does the job and easy to use. However, I haven’t been able to log back into it for the last week - even after deleting the app and reinstalling. Contacting Fresworks support is hit and miss, so for now I’m only using the web version.
