Blank screen
I’m using Elan for my Fidelity rewards Visa. The Fidelity mobile site does not provide access to the visa activity. The only place to see it is with the Elan Credit Card app….BUT the app is very poor. I can download it and it works fine but after one or two uses, it only shows a blank screen at startup. Very frustrating. And, there are many similar comments in the reviews. Let’s hope someone reads them and does something about it. Fidelity is awesome but their credit card manager,Elan, leaves a lot to be desired.

Access isn’t guaranteed
I’ve been using this app for several years now and it seems like every other week the Face ID login stops working and something on the back end locks my account and I have to call technical assistance to get into my account. It’s very frustrating how often this occurs with this app. The payment scheduling and pending payments is very clunky and cumbersome. Overall, this app has made me consider closing my card/account and switch to something more streamlined and efficient.

Seriously bad App
As others have noted, the App is full of glitches. 1. I cannot access my statement as a download (I can only see the App version of the account overview). 2. When talking to a representative, the ‘Cobrowse’ button/link which enables the rep to share the screen DOES NOT work. 3. When and if you have password issues, it took me a lot of time and energy to get someone on the phone (!) to walk me through changing the password. All in all, this App needs a lot of upgrades and updates to actually function. I agree with a previous reviewer who was ready to go back to paper statements just to avoid having to use this App.

Worst financial app I’ve “used”
I’ve opened a credit card tried activating it multiple times finally had luck with that then enrolling into the app is another whole nightmare I haven’t even been able to access my card information because I can’t get in technical support is absolutely no help and that literally the only thing the app tells me to do is to call for them to tell me I have to enroll online I’ve typed in my information hundreds of times now ridiculous

Lowest performance
I have over ten credit cards from different institutions. I have never, ever, ever, had to jump through hoops to enroll, and/or to use an app. I really care about security, but some of the things requested and redundant. Also, there’s too much going on the screen at one time. Developing team, take a look at the Discover or the Amex app, that’s how you do it. Two starts one, at least they have an app, and the second, because at least it works.

Don’t waste your time
Worst finance app I’ve ever used in my life. Will continuously lock you out and make the reset process insanely roundabout for no reason. Forces you to set verification questions then won’t accept the answers. I’ve had the app for 2 years and have done more password resets from the account being locked out than every other app on my phone combined through the history of the App Store. Also Face ID just stopped working even after I deleted and reinstalled the app. Worst. App. Ever.

App slow and cumbersome
I’m honestly about to cancel my credit card sheerly for how slow the app is. If you’re trying to budget, this app is not going to give you a clear understanding of what you spent your money on. You’ll have to keep track in a third party app. Trying to even open this app when you don’t have Wi-Fi and your signal isn’t very strong is next to impossible. I spend so much time watching this app spin. I’ve never had that issue with my other financial apps.

I would give 0 stars if I could
Every time around bill pay I’m locked out of the app. I end up having to call member services and resetting my password and this time I also had to reset my security questions. I always have Face ID set up but apparently that gets shut out every other time I use the app. It wasn’t until I used the website with tech support on the line that it worked so honestly I probably won’t be using the app again. I ended up going over my credit limit because I was unable to see my credit amount to properly plan. Venmo works better than this.

Can’t log in!!
My Bank of America AAA Visa card I had for almost 20 years was sold to US Bank and dba ACG Card Member Services, yet Elan is the app I need to use to access my account now??? Either way, I’m registered online and figured I’d try the app. Well, the secure question that prompted me to answer in the app wasn’t even one of the three questions I choose previously. Went on the phone for an hour with zero resolution. I’ll simply have to save the webpage via chrome to my app area for this cc. Oh well. Doesn't seem like these folks are with the times.

Horrible app and horrible banking service
Locks me out of my account weekly. does not recognize my password even though i am acutely aware of what passwords I use (especially since it locks me out so often). Additionally, doesn’t even let me reset my password after multiple error messages and me being locked out of my account. Awful service, just closed down my account today. That is, assuming I can trust Elan Financial to actually shut down my account considering how inefficient and untrustworthy their online services are to begin with.
