  • Can’t find any location

    It’s annoying enough to have to enter a location to see the menu but beyond frustrating that this app doesn’t even find the location no matter how I search. Portillo’s opened a location in The Colony, TX a few months ago but TX isn’t even listed on the Locations page. Guess that’s why it doesn’t exist in the App search results.

  • App is not current with locations

    I was disappointed the app doesn't reflect the Portillo's location in the Dallas Metroplex area (at The Colony). We are only 3 hours away and would have used the app often for pre-ordering for pick-up/take & make. 😢 couldn't tell you if the app works for other locations. 🤷‍♀️
  • Terrible ordering process

    Great food but not worth the pain of using a complicated app that’s hard to customize your order and get what you want. They also have this convoluted phone menu when you call them. After trying every route I finally got a human but they don’t take orders over the phone. This company needs how to learn to create a seamless easy way to order. What a complete mess.

  • “Are you human?” Prompt just goes in circles

    There’s a new prompt that ask “Are you human?” And has you press and hold a button for 20 seconds only for it to ask you again but this time no button to hold. When you press the X button to try to make it go away it does nothing. I can’t put my order in AT ALL because of this prompt.
  • What gives with no Apple Pay?

    Why do I need to type my credit card number into the app instead of being allowed to use Apple Pay?

    It’s a sub par app. Need to invest more into the app. Can’t even check your rewards
  • You are missing the TX Location

    I wanted to use the app for an online order but you are missing The Colony Tx location.
  • Hope the food is better than the app

    What a buggy mess.
    The app insists on entry of your location even if you are picking it up, and it won’t let you proceed if you are “too far” away… for pick up!
    No way to contact them thru the website or app unless your issue fits their canned definitions.
    Can’t even find out what a sandwich costs.
  • Horrible company

    The days of this company being good are long gone. These trash humans will get your order wrong EVERY time and when asking for a refund? The costumer care people will literally try and refund you 2 dollars only for specific ingredients missing. Imagine ordering a hot dog chicago style and they try and refund you .50 cents because they didn’t make it chicago style rather than the whole dog. This is their practice. Horrible company and even worse app. Go to a local hot dog joint instead of this chain “restaurant” garbage.

  • Forget customizing your food

    It’s really disappointing that the app is set up to limit you to the toppings or customization they want you to choose, not the ones you want to choose. There isn’t even a box to type a special instruction on your item. Relish isn’t a choice for a cheeseburger? Why not? If I order in person, I get relish every single time. In the app, you can only have it on a hot dog. For almost $10 for a burger, you should be able to choose whatever toppings you like.
