Okay app, annoying quirks
Overall this app is basic but functions adequately.
My main gripes are user experience related:
1) No option in the app to provide feedback like this.
2) Every time the app gets updated I need to log in again. Like most people, I have dozens of apps and this is the ONLY app which requires this extra step.
3) I stopped keeping money on the Noah’s app/account because (a) I don’t enjoy leaving my money sitting in their bank account, and (b) every other visit I need to reload money which is annoying and the reload process is very slow I like Starbucks’s app which reloads in a few seconds.
4) Would be great if I could pay via the Noah’s app and have the cost/charge instantly pass through Apple Pay to my payment card of choice. My user experience now requires asking the clerk to press a button on her/his screen to let me scan the app for points, scan the app, then ask the clerk to press another button to let me pay via Apple Pay, switch to Apple Pay on my phone, then tap to complete the transaction.
I know these user experience issues are really minor and petty, but issues #2-4 annoy me to the point where I avoid going to Noah’s more regularly to save myself the frustration.Show lessStarblazer336
Good for quick easy ordering
This makes it easy to quickly order and then pick up in store. Wish there was more customization available on the App. Allow people to have it cut in half or put light cream cheese. It is nice that we can do some like double roasting. But I always have to order and they hope it’s not done when I get there so I can tell them to cut it in half.Show lessSuReyna
Absolutely Garbage
I like Noah’s just fine, it’s a reasonably reliable bagel place. However when your app takes away literally all options to customize what is the point. When I went to order a nova lox sandwich they limited the bagels I could choose from, I could not remove any toppings or make a reasonable adjustment like switching type of cream cheese. Everyone from Starbucks to my local burrito place has figured out customization, and as someone who worked at Einsteins for too long I’ve seen the insane combinations people love. There’s absolutely no point in this app and it feels like a gimmicky and stupid way to force people to come to their stores.Show lesscheffresh420
What’s my order status?
I found it easy enough to select items off of the menu and pay. I would like an option to see the status of my order. I saw a time estimate when I placed the order, but a) can’t get back to that message, b) have no way of checking in to let them know that I am at curbside pickup, and c) have no way to see if the order is ready, in process, has been picked up, etc.Show lesssarki0610
It’s super convenient and works perfectly!
Im usually in close proximity to a Noah’s bagels and this app has made things so much more convenient in the mornings. I like racking up points that will later turn into delicious bagels, for purchasing delicious bagels I already want. Lol. The app has never crashed on me, didn’t process my order or have other serious drawbacks. I really appreciate that it works well, and that it shortens my wait time to pretty much nothing at my location. Awesome!Show lessLillith Faust
Chaos
Every time I come here the Tustin location on Kensington there’s always a chaos and the staff working there never seem to get the order right!!! I was in today and I ordered 3 bagels and and they only gave me 2. They don’t listen and pretend that they are very busy while intact they keep talking to each other and don’t bother to listen or eh customers.
Last time I came it was another customer who was screaming because they didn’t get his order right and forgot he was waiting for an hour!!!Show lessAmbereen
Super clunky
Where is my order history? How can I find out that my order that was supposed to take 10 min per quoted by the app is still mot ready after 30 min? Or did someone take my order? I received no receipt or order confirmation via email, text, app notification, app order history, nothing. The only record I have is that a rounded up amount was transferred from my bank card to a rewards card that now has a balance of 57 centsShow lesspig dancing
Great app but more order options would be appreciated!
I would give 5 stars if you could choose your own bagels when ordering bagel boxes. The option to choose which bagels you want in a bagel box is not an option. Additionally, I’d like the option to order 2 spreads like cream cheese and jelly when ordering a bagel.vrigby
Do not use this app
Do not use this app, if they don’t have the items you ordered they won’t bother to contact you and after you drive to the store and find out they have none of your food they make it impossible to get a refund. I ordered 2 egg sandwiches and 2 hash browns through their app. I drive all the way to the store and the foods not ready, so I ask about it and they don’t have the bagels I ordered, they don’t have the bacon for the sandwiches and they don’t have the hashbrowns I ordered either. They didn’t bother to contact me and tell me this so I drove there for nothing. Then… they won’t give me a refund! What?! The manager tells me to contact customer service. Then get this there is no customer service phone number, I have to fill out a form online, and still nobody has contacted me. I’ll never eat Noah’s bagels again and I definitely won’t order through the app. This is the worst customer service I’ve had. Seriously this company is ran by amateurs.Show lessmikeyness88
Great app and wonderful offers!
I love going to Noah’s, as I cover lunch for my kids for a couple of days and everyone is happy. The only drawback is that I can’t order a dozen bagels and pick the bagels that I like. I’m forced to order in person. Another drawback is that, if I want to earn points for my in-person order, I have to enter my phone number at the cash register and it causes delays in finalizing my order. The staff is polite, but I can clearly see that they aren’t happy with the delay. By allowing me to order a custom dozen bagels on the app, I will solve both problems!Show lessNdNLA32
