  • JH Mobile App is Nearly Useless

    This mobile app is stuck in the stone ages. The information it provides to its investors is practically useless. It leans heavy towards “invest more money with us” but almost nothing around portfolio performance (a reason why to invest more) without many steps to open a Statement that’s days behind, and never in real time. Please take lesson from Fidelity, Charles Schwab and Morgan Stanley’s mobile app’s, yours is disappointing. Thank you

  • Horrible app

    Your app is so basic that it’s not worth looking at. You are light years behind fidelity, Schwab and others.
    Please actually invest resources into a functional app that actually allows a user to function
  • Unresponsive and difficult

    Super slow. At times I cannot get on site
  • Very disappointing

    I am unable to move my funds through your app to another account which I’d like to close my John Hancock. When I thought I was moving this account all I did was away from my former employees account to my own IRA account

    This app is a direct reflection on this company. If you can’t manage to create a useable app , how can I trust you to manage my money? I can’t log on and have to jump through hoops to get my balance . This does not inspire confidence in this company .
  • Unable to login

    Like many others I’m unable to login.

    My credentials work on the web site and are being entered by a password manager (app also does not play nicely with password managers)

    Issue occurring on iPhone 13 mini with the latest iOS (15.5)

    Tested on gigabit wifi as well as cellular data.

    As a Sr. Software Engineer I’m happy to provide application logs but please do NOT tell me to contact tier 1 customer support for an issue they will have no idea how to resolve.

    I am more than happy to hook up to a Mac and pull app debug logs though and send them to someone who can use them.

    There is clearly an issue in the authentication flow between the app and backend services.

  • Doesn’t work

    This app doesn’t even work. Log in info is correct but nothing actually loads. There isn’t even a ticket submission function so the only way to tell them their app is broken is to leave this review.
  • Can’t log in through the app

    I am able to log in online but not through the app.
    It does not recognize my password.
    Delete and reinstall install does not work.
  • Easy to use

    The app gets into my account easily with FaceID, makes it simple to see my balance and mange it.
