  • Needed to level this out a bit…

    It’s dental insurance. It’s is what it is and nothing more. The app is designed to help make transactions easier and providing coverage details. It is nice having digital copies of insurance cards as well. The app does that and I’m very satisfied with the app. This is only my opinion. There are many coverage options to pick from. It’s up to the patient to read what is covered and what is not and pick the plan that best fits them 🤷🏽

  • Unable to log in, contact support doesn’t work

    App used to kind of work but now cannot log in’s just get an error message and an option to contact support, however, the option to contact support also doesn’t work and just circles you back to trying to log in again. Pretty major fail for such a large company as Delta.
  • Less than worthless

    I tried logging in, it gives an error and shows a button that says "contact support". When I press it, it just goes back to the login screen.
    I'm convinced that the app and website are deliberately bad so that people can't actually use the insurance. The development team should feel bad. Maybe get a job where you don't have to worry about users at all.

  • Ok plan

    Our new dentist is out of network but Delta sent me a check for services they would pay an in network dentist. Only problem with the up is that it isn’t current. Needs to be up to date.
  • What is everyone’s problem?

    I am using the app with no difficulty and find it rather well designed. Don’t have any idea what all the bad ratings are for…and I am not a shill.
  • Installed 1.12 and had no issues

    After reading the detailed comments posted and the details of v. 1.12, I cautiously installed the app (onto my old SE). I successfully logged in to my existing account, had my member card emailed to myself and linked my dentist’s information. No issues encountered. I conservatively entered a “3” to not skew the data up, but hopefully the issues others reported may have been resolved.

  • Cannot view available funds

    Anytime someone uses insurance of any kind, we want to know how much it will cost us. So, the app should have a display that shows how much money is left in our annual pool of funds.

    This is one of the most basic pieces of information needed by the user and it cannot be found on the app.
  • Added claims finally

    The ability to look up claims has been added to the app. Thank you. That’s really the primary reason to have a dental insurance app. I tested it and it works, I’m able to see my most recent claims. Smile!
  • So far so good

    Low cost dental insurance but they pay also for part of my procedures? Excellent! Unfortunately, here in the US health is not free so to find an insurance that pays for part of the procedures is a blessing.
  • Futile

    I have been trying to get the phone app to work for over 2 months now. I can log into the web portal just fine on my laptop, but apparently (per their tech support) the phone app uses a separate database that can’t talk to the one associated with the web portal. I’ve played the phone tag game talking to both sides, but all they can do is finger point and blame each other. With today’s technology you would think Delta Dental could figure this out and do it with ONE database. I’d hate to think if airlines ran their business this way. Best of luck, but your time will likely be better spent doing something more meaningful like watching paint dry.
