  • App is worse than a pyramid scheme..

    I have revised this now that I looked closer in the app. The stylist feature is $50 PER MONTH!! This means the “subscribtion” is to scroll through an app that does nothing unless you pay more. So yes, the advisors are great but you could spend that money with a personal shopper with the same results.

    I think the amount they charge you is ridiculous, and that’s even with the half price I got however the advisors are great. I picked the monthly outfit, and although the sessions are supposed to be just a certain amount of time they work with you until they find an outfit that you actually like. My complaint is if you want to do anything in the app, you have to spend more money; so basically the price for the app is more than deceitful, and the initial subscription gets you nothing but the ability to scroll through things that cost more money. Lana was my second stylist. She was fabulous. My first stylist never finished my outfit so I can’t even see it.
    I won’t resubscribe, I got the 6 months for half so there is no point for asking Apple to refund, but if I had paid full price I would be complaining to Apple.

  • Poor customer service / product offering

    Not a fit for those outside of America. There isn’t value for money as you are not able to properly use the product and it doesn’t fit under their “money back guarantee”. The suggestions are for brands not in Australia, the time zones to meet with a consultant don’t line up and be carful if you are just signing in for a trial before purchasing because it’s not an easy process to unsubscribe (can’t do it via apple) so if you miss the date you’ve got to unsubscribe, they won’t refund as also not in their policy, which makes me wonder if this is just where they are getting their money from.

  • MISLEADING

    I cancelled my trial period but got charged a subscription fee afterward of $110. I emailed multiple times to cancel. No replies. There is no customer support. Tried to cancel the subscription service in APP but there it just shows a constant technical error so can never cancel. Save your money. Do not trial this. DODGY

  • Scam - please don’t fall for it like I did

    Please take this warning: it's a scam. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to the owner or customer support using the provided email in the app, they persist in deducting $90 Australian dollars from my account. I've repeatedly tried to cancel my subscription after the two-week trial period because I found the app confusing and unsatisfactory, but there seems to be no way to cancel it. Every time I try, an error message pops up, asking me to try again later. Essentially, it's impossible to cancel, and they keep debiting money from my account. I had to resort to canceling my card to prevent further deductions. It's disheartening that such scams exist, taking advantage of people and their hard-earned money. Losing $90 a week is a significant amount, especially in the current economic climate where many are struggling financially.

  • My first stylist session

    I really didn’t know what I was thinking this morning while scrolling on Facebook. Then I saw an ad about updating my wardrobe and looking my best for my age- well yeah I want to do that! So I went for it, why not… I’ll just close out if it’s not for me. But then they had me really thinking about myself and answering questions and before I knew it I was scheduled with a stylist. Sam was great! She picked out an outfit that was spot on for my employment but can still go out with my husband for dinner afterwards and feel good about myself. She was even able to modify the shoes she picked out because I didn’t like them. I stand 10 hours a day and needed comfortable shoes(tennis shoes) while dressed business casual. Honestly I thought was going to be talking to an AI and this was going to be a waste of time- but Sam was quick and understood exactly what I needed and was looking for. She found me the cutest pair of shoes! I’m kinda excited about getting this outfit- I will update this review after it’s delivered!! Oh yeah- the best part was it didn’t cost a lot of $$ to try it.

  • 1st chat with my stylist

    Well, I was skeptical about trying another clothing app, but so far I am glad I did. They have made the app easy to navigate and easy to answer questions. The amazing part was my stylist Lana-in our appointment she asked a bunch of questions to actually narrow down what I wanted. She didn’t want to just send me the same stuff she sends everybody else. in about a half an hour maybe 40 minutes she figured out how I wanted to change my style and came up with an outfit that is truly amazing! If this continues, I’m going to be the happiest woman in my town! Lol the other clothing apps don’t really care much about who you are or what style will go with your life. So far Lumi has!! This is actually the first time I’ve ever had a chat with my stylist. Never has my stylist worked this hard to figure me out!! And we chatted immediately the same day that I signed up.
    I will keep everybody updated as I get my outfit and do my next appointment with Lana. I’ll let you guys know if they stay amazing or if they don’t. But I think they’re going to.

  • Waste of time

    After signing up and answering lots and lots of questions you simply get paired with someone on a chat who asks you some more really broad questions who then takes ages to stick a random outfit onto a PDF - the chances of them nailing it are a million to one based on the fact that you haven’t even had a conversation with them and all of their ‘quiz questions’ from sign up seem to have gone nowhere. After two attempts and finding an outfit I quit the chat as it could literally have gone on for days and got nowhere. I paid around $35AUD for this. Absolute BS.

    Like others have said this is a total scam….sadly there was no way to know that until it was too late. I will be reporting to the app store and instagram and calling my bank to block. Makes you lose faith in humanity. :(

  • 5 stars for customer service

    I never got a lot of use from the app; I tried being more fashion-forward, but it just isn’t me, and I no longer wanted to pay for the product with my budget. Anyway, the customer service is AMAZING. I had problems trying to cancel, the app was being fussy, so I quickly emailed. They were prompt, courteous, and though they did their due diligence in trying to get me to reconsider, they ultimately understood and didn’t push or overwhelm me once. It was a very smooth and polite interaction. Props to the customer service, most apps and businesses could learn something from Lumi!
