  • waste of time & difficult to connect

    The app always has loading issues; ie it doesn’t load. not sure if it’s my company or the awful insurance company, but being able to file a claim within the time frame without being told about how the process is gonna go, IS NOT SIMPLE. first time applicant here! had difficulty with the app with the website and uploading a claim. worst experience, made me feel like i shouldn’t have left work to get a surgery i NEEDED. app is a piece of junk.

  • Bad UI + and buggy

    Uploading documents doesn’t work and the UI in the app doesn’t match the website. Which one are we to believe is the right one? How do we know we’re submitting the right information for our claim. This has a lot of large life impacts for people if the wrong information is submitted/not acceptable.
  • This App is the worst

    This is quite literally the worst app I have ever used (and I never write bad reviews). It simply doesn’t work and has about 8000 errors! Was it ever beta tested? Like seriously? What makes it more frustrating is I have to use this app for work leave when I don’t feel well and the last thing I want to do is to deal with app that looks like it was made by first graders. And I am being disrespectful to the first graders by saying that.

  • The app that forces you to use the webpage.

    I use this app to check my Unum account. However it will repeatedly crash once something is selected and I have to start over. Starting over requires logging in all over again. The app does not like to interface with Keychain so I can either pull up Keychain manually or type in the log in info myself.

    Developer. If this is the purpose of the app, please let me know. I will immediately change this to a 5 -star review because this app meets and exceeds this criteria of expectations.

  • Bad App and Worse Company

    Very challenging app riddled with errors and screens that continually tell me I that I am missing information. The phone number is really bad when it comes to not allowing you to talk to a representative. I am out due to injury in my hip requiring full hip replacement surgery and I can honestly say that these problems translate to lots of physical pain.

    I keep being told that my coverage letter was sent to me when actually they meant the portal, which is guessing is this app. I still am not find my letter and this issue of not getting paid is a worry that I should not have to bear while in such pain.

    Another company raking in obscene profits while letting automated messages and a dysfunctional app do all the work.

  • Why even have the app?

    First off, Face ID login doesn’t work, not the end of the world, but why even have the option available then?

    Second, can’t even chat with a Unum rep.

    Third, can’t even put an absence in for FMLA on the app anymore, as the claim that is open, doesn’t even show up when trying to add the day, but it shows the closed FMLA claim. If I wanted co call Unum to report things, I wouldn’t have downloaded the app.

  • Never works

    I’ve tried everything over the past few years to view my documents online, both via the website and via the app. I try to log in to the app, and I am told there is no account with that email address, so I’m asked to register. I go to register, and I’m told that I already have an account and need to log in. The website is no better. I log in successfully, at least, but then am told that my account requires assistance. This has been an issue over multiple claims, and while tickets have been issued, Unum fails to actually get either online option to work. I have to call for everything, and I have to make a special request to have my documents emailed to me directly. The lack of IT support and follow-up with the customers is truly horrible.

  • Fix the Login

    This is literally the only app I’ve used where you have to enter your email separately from the login screen and can’t autofill with any password system. Super janky design making it take much longer to log in. Face ID would be nice but fixing this horrible design needs to happen
  • One word: Horrible app

    I wanted to file new claim, as soon as you hit new claim, the page goes blank and says our developer has been notified and they are working on it. The most important feature is disabled or not working. Best way to save money for this company, by not investing into app development 🤣
  • Lack of an App

    Recent update was released to allow for member id cards to be viewable in the app but every time I try to open mine it says “Document Unavailable”. Can’t view coverages in app, can’t delete saved claims without receiving error message, honestly can’t do anything in this app. Don’t put out an app that is not finished and instead release periodic updates to give basic features that don’t even work. Whole app needs to be redone and not released to the public until every feature is available and working.
