  • Right Track is seriously flawed

Right Track purports to evaluate your driving. Its algorithm requires your precise location. Right Track does not function unless you give it this permission. One would think, therefore, that Right Track would know when you were on an actual road as opposed to, for example, a mountain trail, a ski run, or a body of water. I found out the hard way that it doesn’t. My Right Track “evaluation” includes skiing, running downhill and boating. I admit that I’ve had to make some sudden stops while on skiis but I think it’s rather unfair that this should affect my auto insurance premium. The algorithm furthermore does not know if you are on a curvey pot-holed road or a freeway. It does not know if you are driving with snow or ice on the road or a clean dry surface. It does not know if you are in rush hour traffic or an open highway. It does not know if you’ve been caught in a sudden deluge of rain or an unexpected gust of wind. It doesn’t even know if you are traveling uphill, downhill or level. How can Safeco can know the quality of your driving without knowing the conditions under which you are driving. In fact, it doesn’t even know if you are driving, skiing, running or boating.
  • Enjoying perusing safeco’s app

I received a notification concerning our insurance policy including the contracts detailing our partnership with safeco.
I logged on and was directed to change the password. I followed the simple instructions and perfected that task.
I was also advised to download the app. I’m getting my arms around it. So far ive been able to peruse the documents without glitches.
I’m going to take this opportunity to drill down and familiarize myself with the details. I’n looking forward gain command of the coverage that I’m paying and determining if any adjustments are needed.
I’d like to laud safeco for your fine service accommodating our insurance requirements on our home and numerous vehicles. You’ve always been there for us. I’m mindful of that reality and sincerely grateful that you welcomed us into your fold and have
faithfully stood by us all of these years. For that we’re grateful and we you a tremendous debt of gratitude. I pray that our association and business bond continues through perpetuity.

  • Good Idea, Terrible Execution

The app’s driving tracker needs readjustment because “hard braking” is far too sensitive at the moment which makes driving in traffic a huge pain in the neck.

How the app wants you to brake is to decelerate and not lose more than 8 miles per second which is fine until you apply this method in real life. There are far too many factors when driving that could require you to brake harder than what the app wants you to do yet you get penalized for avoiding collision.

“Hard braking” is a terrible metric to measure a driver’s skill and safety level.
  • Great App!

I find the Safeco app easy to use and navigate. It’s simple and user friendly. I am able to do everything I have wanted to accomplish on the app such as changing payment type, downloading a copy of my insurance card , etc. Thankfully I haven’t had to try the “make a claim” function but it it as easy to use as the other functions it’s a winner.
  • SAFECO mobile app

This app makes so much more convenient to print out ID cards, and even policies, if needed than going through the website.
Just got a new car I need to transfer license plates, and I have been out town so it very fast to open the app right at my policy and print the letter of insurance.
  • Worst app it has been my misfortune to use.

Despite my insurance company suggesting and assuring me all my info and tasks needed to pursue my homeowners claim can be handled with this app, nothing could be further from the truth. The Liberty insurance app they also repeatedly urged me to use never even allowed me to sign in. I had that same problem with this one but eventually was able create an account. Too bad it crashed immediately after and I only found out weeks later I was successful when the company sent me a physical letter confirming the account creation. Since then all my efforts trying to use this app have been a waste of my time. The features don’t work and the options offered don’t apply to my situation. Yet the company behaves as if everything can be handled through this portal, and all my communications by text, email or phone are apparently ignored.
  • Great customer service

I received the top customer service; Safeco employees are always have a positive attitude, Agent Tania Babeshof; is an excellent agent she has the attention to detail and active listening skills. Timely return phone calls, check on her customers, knowledgeable responsive, courtesy and respectful.
  • User friendly :0)

This app and service with Safeco has been great! I wasn’t sure how to access my insurance card in a moment I needed it fast and it was very simple and easy to show for a new car purchase. Thanks
  • Cathrine Great

Catherine walked me through the insurance claim answered all my questions that I thought I might ask and some of that I may not be able to anticipate very easy and friendly to do I hope I never have to fill another claim again thank you
  • Right track App is a joke

This right track program is a joke. The App has issues tracking location and relating correct location information. It only tracks deceleration and acceleration which is sensitive enough to be set off if you start your forward roll on a hill. That’s the only information it tracks to tell if you are a “good driver”. Should you feel the need you could run every stop sign from here to Florida while doing 90mph and still get an excellent review for the trip.
