  • Good app, needs some basic feature adds

    Great all around app, but definitely needs some feature updates that are fairly normal for anyone weight lifting. These are extremely standard & even should be expected:

    1. Once the exercise starts, you can adjust reps +/-, but you cannot adjust the weight # lifted. Only way to do this is to exit, edit, adjust weight, save, start again. *add feature which allows you to adjust weight +/- once the exercise has begun*.
    2. If you create a custom exercise & you want to adjust the ranking order of the workouts…you can’t. You only option is to delete everything and re add in the order you want. *add feature allowing you to adjust order of exercises by drag/drop*.
    3. Super set doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to. With super sets, you will traditionally do 1 rep of bench followed directly by 1 rep of dumbbell row. Rep 2 would start this order over. Repeat. In the app…it only allows you to finish all 3 sets of the workout it’s already in, then you move into the next exercise (superset) to do those 3 sets. That completely defeats the purpose of supersets. *add feature which changes back/forth between the main exercise and the superset for each individual rep*.

    I use this to help burn my daily calorie burn goal. I’m such a lazy person. I have no energy most days to do anything. I usually walk my calories off but lately I haven’t been in the mood to head out. Seems like the hotter it gets the lazier I get. So this app has helped me go above and beyond my daily goal. I double the goal every day and in less time! I usually get my workouts done in a little under an hour. Which is way better than taking hours out of my day walking. Which I don’t mind most times. It’s just I want to be done faster. So this is a great app if you’re trying to get in and out. Still get something accomplished.
  • Only a few requests

    So far it’s a great app for dumbbell exercises with an easy to use interface and nice variety and options. Overall I would recommend this app and paid $10 because it’s worth it.

    Feedback-wise - Being new to the app and not knowing exactly what weight to use for each exercise, I need to stop the workout and edit the weights once that’s figured out. When going back into the workout, I can’t just select the workout that I left off with. Instead, I have to blast through the start/stop button to get back to where I was.

    What I’d love to see is an option to edit weight on the fly without losing progress, and/or the option to simply tap the avatars at the bottom to get to the exact workout I was on before editing my weights. Having a better voice and not as shrill an alert would be nice as well, but it’s not a big deal. Maybe these options are there, but they aren’t intuitive…?
