  • Worse App imaginable

    We were on a Virgin cruise earlier this year and only going on this one because it is free. Well not actually free we have to pay port taxes and flights. Supposed to be free because of the terrible experience last time. This included the poor App, it hasn’t improved. There is no back arrow so you have to completely close the App on all screens and go back in. My wife booked the cruise but I can’t link to booking, I keep getting the message Arr that’s awkward. My wife can’t book restaurants plus it’s difficult to work out times as show times are unclear. Many many other issues. It should be tested by passenger in front of the App developer so they can see all the problems. Last time the queue at guest service was huge, it will be the same again mainly due to this App

  • Communication

    All attempts to accept offers, adjust bookings, make bookings and get details/information are met with “go to the sailor app”- none of these are there, no search or help function and no account details. SAILING IN 19 DAYS! Still get marketing emails and texts though.
  • Horrible App

    I am going on my first cruise with Virgin very soon and as instructed I downloaded the App to book restaurants and some activities.
    Not only it has been a nightmare to book anything on that App but the customer service is even worse.
    I sent an email with no response and I waited on the chat for more than 1 hour only to be told when it was my turn that there are no agents available.
    I should have read all the reviews so I would not be surprised by how horrible the App is.
    I sure hope the cruise will go well but if not, I will definitely not recommend it to anyone.

  • Doesn’t work at all

    Every time I open it I get a “Something went wrong” message. There is an option to “ignore and try again” or one to “report the problem “ so they can try to fix it. Problem is: the “report” button does NOTHING. The one “ignore” option dutifully tries again, only to return the same “something went wrong” screen. Tried restarting. Tried deleting and reinstalling. Same results. Literally worthless.

  • Crippling part of Virgin Cruises. Beware.

    Hands down the worst app I've used in years. Wifi onboard Valiant lady almost never works and blocks sites, downloads, uploads, videos, music, streaming. It makes the app even worse. It's glitchy, can't talk to your representatives which is vital. Can't make reservations. It ruined the experience of the cruise to be frank. Virgin Cruises need a good 2-3 more years to figure their stuff out. Reinventing the wheel for absolutely everything isn't always necessary.

  • App has major issues

    Booked back to back cruises and are paid in full on the second one but can’t get any help to pay for the first cruise
    Now I get a email about owing money and can’t pay because this cruise doesn’t show in my app account and there’s literally no one from virgin responding in any form(chat/email/phone)
    So we’re now wondering if we need to cancel flights etc……

  • This app is garbage

    You basically need to use the app to do anything on the cruise ship and it rarely loads. Making reservations is a must and if the app doesn’t load, you have to go to sailor services and they give you a hard time about not using the app. We couldn’t make reservations for several shows because they were sold out by the time the app loaded. The communication on the cruise needs to be more than just this app or they need to fix the wifi/app bugs on the ship if they’re relying solely on the app.

    Cool concept. Slow and clunky. Needs massive improvements. When booking restaurant reservations you should be able to see the event lineup within the same screen so you easily see when you should book your seating time if you wanted to catch one of the shows. Most things are labeled as “book onboard” which seems to render the app kinda useless for anything other than restaurant bookings. Shore excursions seem VERY limited.

  • Horrible App

    We took the cruise out of Spain and Virgin wants you to use the app for anything and everything you do. This is a great concept and love everything about it but the problem is that the app doesn’t work 90% of the time! The app crashes, doesn’t work off ship, it sits and spins trying to load and doesn’t update in a timely manner. Virgin switched our excursions but the app never updated so we missed 1 excursion and the other one got moved to a later time and we were early because the app never updated. The ship is beautiful, the staff is great, the food is excellent but if you make your guest to be dependent on an app, it better be almost flawless!!!

    Opened today and the app doesn’t work and bug report button doesn’t either.
