  • Down to the first bite!

    This takes getting used to in the beginning, do not quit! Painful taking the aligners out the very first time and eating may be hard because of tooth sensitivity. Do not give up! Results will come with patience and consistency. You will be rewarded with a straight and perfect smile.
  • Customer service

    I received my first set of aligners, spent hours trying to get them on. I had read some reviews that said Byte customer service could be difficult to deal with, so I was discouraged. I emailed back and forth with customer service and sent in photos. I received my new set of aligners that fit perfectly within two weeks or so. Very quick response and fixed the issue.

  • You get what you pay for

    Ugh I should have just shelled out a bit of extra cash and done Invisalign.

    - Started and had a 10 set of aligners sent to me. The aligners themselves were shorty. They were cut unevenly (one side way longer than the other) and made it uncomfortable to close my mouth evenly. They said I could cut and file them myself to even each aligner out, but wish they were just even in the first place.

    - After getting to step 9, my bite wasn’t feeling right. Sent some photos for a check in and they said they needed to recheck my teeth and send me another mold to take. After submitting that, they said they needed to restart my treatment and shipped me a new set of 14 aligners. Seemed like the first set wasn’t right so have to start all over.

    - After getting my new set my app wasn’t working anymore. Got stuck saying to wait for my new aligners even though I received them over a month ago. Had to go back and forth with support for weeks to get it reset. After resetting, it had all the incorrect info so had to go back and forth with support again to get the info updated (also they kept getting it wrong…example, I’d tell them I’m on step 3, and they’d put step 4….I’d tell them I had a set of 14 aligners and they put 15).

    - overall very frustrating experience but what can I say….saved $300 from going to Invisalign 🙄I should have been done with my treatment 5 months ago and now basically starting at square one.

  • Checking are horrible

    Camera: Only supports front facing camera, which makes taking good check-in photos borderline impossible. Used to support both cameras, now doesn’t. Also doesn’t allow you to upload photos taken by camera app where you can control things light iso and autofocus. Not sure how byte can even tell what is going on with patients teeth with pictures that are horrible.

    Hyperbyte syncing: works maybe once every ten times I try. If it does it take a long time and randomly prompts you to return to the sync screen…but then doesn’t show updated data.

    Data consistency: Even though you save hyperbyte usage it doesn’t immediately reflect if you navigate to and away from hyperbyte section. Further complicated by the sync feature.

    Checkin: despite it saying so check in do not save your progress. Leave the app and you have to start all over again taking the worst pictures of your life.

  • Great idea, bad execution

    This app initially made tracking my progress very easy but it is probably the buggiest app I’ve ever used.

    I’m constantly unsure if byte is even receiving my checkins because I complete them on the app and then get notified externally and repeatedly about ‘how important it is for me to complete my checkins’

    If you try and back update the hyperbyte usage it is very buggy and will delete previous days.

  • Byte

    Byte has really been easy to use, and my teeth have definitely moved. I thought I had signed up for notifications, but I must have done in incorrectly. I’m on track now and will wait for feedback. All in all a great experience.
  • Wow!

    I was skeptical… I was dumb for being skeptical. Don’t over think it!!!! Do it!!! I’m in love after just week 1! 😭 so excited for the end result. The perfection on the entire kit is amazing! 🤩 From the weekly aligners, to the HyperByte vibration device to the packaging and extra accessories. It’s so perfect! Highly highly recommend!

  • Tears of Joy

    Seriously, how often do we shed tears of joy? Our engagement, wedding, the births of our children, happy surprises, an unexpected kindness…and getting Byte!! I am 70 years old, wore the heavy metal braces in the 60’s, and alas, took no action when my teeth started to move into crooked ways. I am so happy with every aspect of the Byte experience, I tell you I would turn a cartwheel if my sciatica wouldn’t go out, so instead, I will dance a jig. Thank you to everyone at Byte for being so kind, so professional and so on top of everything. I’ve been around the railroad track a few times, and that is a rare commodity, indeed!

  • Terrible

    Was supposed to take 15 weeks. I am now 2 years and 4 months in. I’ve had two dentists tell me I should have done Invisalign. The app doesn’t work for checkins, even after troubleshooting and after trying to sign in on a separate device. Over the past 2 years my customer service experiences have varied drastically. I’ve waited weeks for responses and received wrong information, though recently response times have been more reasonable. I’ve gone through multiple aligner sets. One of my bottom sets did not fit upon receiving it and CS just told me to keep going and check in on week 12. I do not recommend. Just pay a bit more to have things done right.

  • No pain no gain but…

    Byte makes it as easy as possible to get started with a new smile. They’re fun, supportive, great financing, helpful easy to use app.

    My only wish is that I could go back a frame while sending in my update photos. I accidentally submitted a photo of my eyes and had no way to approve all photos at the end and retake mistakes. They allow for it while ON that EXACT photo but I accidentally hit submit instead of retake.

    But that’s my error. It would just be helpful if they’d allow a go back to previous frame option.

    I love Byte!
    I don’t like the first day of a new set of aligners because the force on the teeth is uncomfortable, but that’s to be expected!

    First day of each new week I think I will eat puréed soup and fruit smoothies.
