  • Mine are working great so far, but there is a problem with the app.

    I finished all 15 sets out of 24 or so, and I need my next 9 sets but the app is stuck on a page that says you are on a great place, your aligners have been requested, but it says I need to do a check in when I can’t so do you know how to fix this problem?
  • Current version is broken.

    The app worked great for the first 10+ weeks of my treatment. Somewhere along the way, it started bugging out. It now thinks I only have 2 aligner steps in my treatment plan instead of 18. When these bugs started occurring with the app, it also stopped cooperating with my Hyperbyte. It no longer syncs with my Hyperbyte, and I no longer get notifications reminding me to use the Hyperbyte.

    In addition, since the app thinks I only have two aligner steps in my plan, I can’t properly submit my monthly check-ins on the app.

    I have tried reaching out to Byte support to see if they could adjust my app from their end so it would at least display the proper amount of steps in my plan. They tried updating it and saying it should be fixed, but nothing was fixed on my end. So it appears to be an issue with the app.

    This app is a pretty essential part of your Byte treatment so it’s disappointing that it’s been broken for a few weeks. Really hoping this gets resolved soon because the app was perfect before the bugs started occurring.

    App is great! The only thing it’s missing is the 3D view of the treatment plan! 😇

    Initially, I really liked this app. I would sync my Hyperbyte and it would automatically update for me. Just recently, I have to manually put it in three times just for it to register for a single day. It also took away all my progress with the Hyperbyte, so it looks like I’m not using it daily when I do my check-ins.

  • App is inconsistent

    The app fails to track hyperbyte usage. Previously it did a mediocre job at it, failing to take into account if you used it after midnight (so you loses your streak), but with each update the app gets worse. It fails to accurately track the hyperbyte usage at all, updating your usage yourself doesn’t always “stick.” The aligner step you are on used to track correctly & it also showed the correct date of anticipated finish, but all dates and hyperbyte usage is now completely wrong & the app is borderline useless.

  • Check-in feature

    Please, please, please consider changing the order in which photos (aligners on/off) are requested for check-ins. Nighttime aligners (Byte at night) are a challenge to remove when they are first placed…they become easier to remove after ten hours of wear, but by then I am rushing to get to my 7 am job, (I have zero time to fumble with an app that early in my day)……please request check-in photos with aligners off FIRST!
    If this isn’t possible then please improve upon the “save” feature for the check-ins as photos don’t save.

  • Won’t connect to my account

    I’ve had Byte for 6+ weeks now and this app still won’t connect me to my profile. Every time I log in it says “visit online portal” and won’t allow me to even use the app. If I wanted to always visit the online portal, I wouldn’t be trying to use the app. So frustrating! Is anyone else having issues like this? I tried to report it to byte and they just said “check in online or via email.”

    Update: the issue was solved after contacting Byte. I am now able to keep track of my Byte journey on the app. I still do have some issues connecting the HyperByte but there is an option to manually keep track of it, so it isn’t a huge deal.

  • Great, but Not.

    The entire Byte product is visually slick, but it just suffers from miscommunication between departments (if that is how their business is operated). Every time I would use the app during my treatment, it would have random check ins, but they would have the wrong tray numbers on them. That, or they would go back and forth between a range of numbers every couple of weeks. When I would contact customer service, there was a delay with their emails back to me, for whatever reason. Needs some work, but isn’t a deal breaker.

  • Doesn’t work

    Paid >$3k for aligners and app freezes and doesn’t open. I’ve deleted twice now still same issues I would have expected better considering how much I paid.
  • Week 2 aligners. Going great so far!

    Everything has been great! Getting set up, impressions, and I just finished week 1 of aligners. Starting week 2. I’m not sure how the rest of this will go… but if it continues this way.. I’m sure I will be completely satisfied!
