  • Still a few things the app needs to work out

    I like the idea of this app, but there are still a few things that need to be worked out better. For example, when doing the "check in" via the app, the photos taken with my phone while in the app were blurrier than if I had taken them with my phone outside the app and then uploaded them into the Byte web portal like I've done in the past. Also, not sure how to get my HyperByte to sync with the app.

  • Negligible

    The app can help with keeping track of when to switch aligners and when it’s time to check in (and you can take your photos and send using the app) but as far as using the HyperByte, no good. Almost every time I update that I have used my HyperByte that day, for some reason it takes away two days earlier in the week that I have used it. I will go back and re-enter those two days and save and it will have taken away two more days. It will take about five times, me re-entering two days of HB usage before it saves all seven days again. And I have not been able to find any means of contacting app support, so I am leaving this review instead.

  • So far this App has provided no value

    It got stuck saying I was waiting on my aligners even though they arrived 2 months ago. When I could finally enter in my treatment details it is calculating my first 14 day reminder at the 21 day mark. This means I’m going to get unhelpful push notifications like I have already been receiving telling me to check in with no ability to do so. I’m on my 4th box of aligners and just tired of being a number at Byte. There is nothing personalized about their customer service and this App further removes them from any sort of human interaction. Start by removing the forced options. What if I need to wear a set of aligners for 3 weeks? That’s not allowed in this App.

  • Hyperbyte stop connecting

    I did enjoyed the app in the beginning and it was very convenient for the Hyperbyte to connect to the app but when my Hyperbyte stop connecting it was harder to remember using it everyday.
    Called customer service but they was suppose to send me a replacement for the hyperbyte but never did. When I call back about it they said they didn’t have on record and ask me to email that email. (I don’t have to lie about it)
    I email them the email but they say that now it’s my Bluetooth is the problem.
    I’m a bit frustrated because I paid for this treatment and was expecting that they would replace the device so I can test if it was really the Hyperbyte issue or my Bluetooth. But guess I wouldn’t know for sure now.

  • Easy instructions and amazing people

    Honestly I was skeptical about starting this because my teeth are spaced and crooked. When I started the process they made it easy for me and they were supper supportive and helpful. They never not once made me feel uncomfortable or frustrated. They contacted me regularly and helped me understand what I was doing and why I was doing and how my treatment plan would be.

    I was even in mir shock that they were able to create a 3D layout of my teeth. It showed me how my teeth looked now (which was pretty spot on) and how my teeth looked after. The results were outstanding. They also have a payment plan that worked just for me. I couldn’t pay it upfront so I decided to do it and I’m so happy I did. All in all Byte is a good company that cares about you and the employees do as well. The dentists care about your wants and needs. You should try it before looking at any negative comments ❤️ THANKYOU BYTE

  • Tracker and check in

    I was texted to check in with the byte app.
    The app says i am supposed to be on step 1 but i have had my aligners over one month. The date the app indicts change is one week away for step 5, the aligner i am on.
    So, if I’m changing weekly, why would i be in aligner 1 for one month or more? This is why my upper teeth looked perfect 4 months after the start of tx and here we are 1.5 years later:( one of many reasons why…

  • Take your money and ghost at trouble

    I was projected 21 weeks treatment. When I began to notice some problems toward the end of my box of aligners, I went through the process of letting them know. I got no response, I got a call two weeks later from a rep that said she was calling to get my next set of aligners ordered. She said I also saw the concerns and yes it looks like you’re a couple steps behind but that’s just projected so let’s wait and see. They already had payment in full at that point. Toward the end of treatment when I raised concerns my teeth were met where they said they’d be once they tried to tell me they were and ended the session without any follow up. Each time you raise concerns you click a link and wait to hear back, it usually takes a week. A month later I finally got someone “willing” to “help” They wanted me to go back steps and start over, like ok how does that work when I can only go back 2 steps but I’ve been raising concerns for a month? They put me through enough run around with their “solutions” to the point I was sick of wearing aligners all the time and dealing with no one that offered any real help. Once they get that payment, they could care less.

  • HYPER BYTE STREAK NOT UPDATING

    I’m on week 7 on my aligners and I love how i’m seeing results already! I’ve been using my hyper byte daily as instructed to do so since day 1, however my streak went back to 0. I tried to update it manually and can’t go back to when I first started, I can only go back within the week. Now my streak is 7 days when it SHOULD be 47 days. I’ve called byte customer service TWICE and both agents told me there’s NOTHING they can do and just advise me to keep using the hyper byte daily. Now I feel discouraged on USING the hyper byte device because it keeps resetting itself on the app. Does not sync at all even when I press sync. I’m trying to work towards my award but now you guys messed that up for me. Extremely disappointing especially for the people who are actually using their hyper byte device every day. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE ASAP or at least give us the capability of manually updating our streak all the way from when we STARTED using our aligners!!!!

  • A lot of room for improvement

    Does not have the capability to checkin, at least I haven’t been able to find it.
    I don’t need an app to remind me about things when I have a calendar for that.
    I have been using the aligners for about a year and the service kind of dropped off after 6 months.
    Overall I did get good results but still have a minor adjustment to get the results I was aiming for.

  • My Experience

    I’m doing the nightly aligners and so far love the ability to do this on my own, at home, without dozens of orthodontist appointments.
    My only criticism is that they are difficult to pop out of your mouth. Right now, when I try to take them out in the morning, both top and bottom aligners hug my teeth in the middle so tightly I can’t get them out with ease.
