  • Latest version no longer showing daily use

    Review Update to app after most recent update 3.41.0: Not only have they still not fixed any of the issues below this app is degrading. The monthly view leaves blanks everywhere, annual billing cycle view has 2 entires for every month, and the usage view shows y’all owe me a credit for every day (yeah like that’s ever going to happen). Maybe someone in whatever entity codes this App should actually be a customer of Entergy to see how thoroughly useless this App is.

    Prior review: Since the update to 3.24.0 the daily usage graph and individual hourly breakdown is totally blank for the days since installing it. The projected bill continues to change but there’s no way now of seeing usage. Updated after developer response: That kind of makes it totally useless if we can’t see the information we are seeking. Especially at a time when energy costs are through the roof and customers are encountering historic high billing. Combine that with the fact the figure shown as total to date consumed in this billing period on the estimate is drastically different from what I calculate it will be when subtracting last month’s meter reading (as visible on my bill) from the current total visible on the meter and I obviously will have yet another surprise massive bill. The PSC needs to appoint oversight to get this mess under control.

  • App is as good as Entergy

    *This app is often down “for maintenance.” It Entergy actually did that much maintenance, the app would work.
    *Entergy has no idea what customers are connected to what lines. Sometimes the app will say that my power is out when it’s not. Sometimes it says that I have power when I don’t. This is a safety issue.
    *The bill projection should be updated multiple times a day, but it usually goes a week without being updated. That makes it completely useless, just like Entergy.

    The worst part is that Entergy has a monopoly in New Orleans. I would NEVER choose Entergy, if I had a choice.

  • Always works for me!

    This app has come a long way! It always works very well for me. Just a suggestion. When customers unenroll from level billing a warning box asking if you are sure should pop up and explain you will be responsible for extra charges that were saved over the years and that you can’t enroll again for six months and ask if you wish to proceed.

  • Love the App and the Company

    I’ve never once had an issue with Entergy or their app. I love the way they allow me to keep track of my energy usage on even an hourly basis and it’s never been easier to pay my bill. Not to mention how useful I find their outage map to be.

    As far as their customer service goes, I’ve hardly ever needed them. But when I did, they were very friendly and patient. I had called them after I had moved. I couldn’t figure out how to link my new account to the app and make it quit showing the old one. The rep walked me through it step by step and had it set up for me in no time.

  • Fake Scam Company

    I just think it’s really convenient that the day before my bill is due the entire website has been shut down and stayed that way for the last three days. I have screenshots and screen recordings of the application, your website and I have audio recordings of the attempting to call you where you refuse to take my call. You literally won’t let me pay my bill and if you try to send me a disconnect notice I’ll file a lawsuit.

    Edit : i’m literally eyeballs deep at a lawsuit. This is not a real company. Do not download this app. This is fake company. This is an attempt to steal peoples personal information. If they attempt to contact you blocked your phone number and call the FBI. This is a fake company involved in human trafficking and theft. The fact that Apple alone allows us to exist under platform means apple is complicit in human trafficking, and again the FBI has been notified.

  • App great, company-not so much!

    The customer service is awful! They won’t go back to the day I moved out of my apartment and I got charged for whoever moved in and ran it up!!!! I called 4 times and there’s not notes of it on the account!!! They won’t even let you talk to a manager and get mad and say that they’ll hang up on you when you hold them accountable!! Plus don’t get sucked into levelized billing. It’s a scam. In fact this company is a scam and I’m reporting them to the APSC! First electric cooperative of Arkansas doesn’t charge near the amount and don’t screw you with the levelized billing scam. Entergy will never get another dime from me. I’ll pay my final bill $10 at a time. What do they think I can afford just to pay a $550 final bill when I’ve got mortgage, insurance and other utility companies?? They just got put on the waaay back burner. I didn’t even use that much in a one bedroom apartment. Tell me why I don’t even pay $100 a month for the 3 bedroom house I live in now?? Entergy should be shut down for gouging!!!

  • Useless

    I couldn’t change my payment option on the app. It took 19 attempts. That’s beyond ridiculous! The button won’t press to edit the payment card. I have too many on file to not be able to choose. Fix that already! I tried to use the website and it’s worse! Send you on a constant back and forth. You want to pay your bill. It sends you to choose between speed pay and billmatrix. Doesn’t matter which one you choose because it sends you to a screen showing your bill and right back to the same choices. It’s literally zero chance of using the website to pay your bill. That’s beyond ridiculous and childish. As a utility company, you’re supposed to allow me a way to pay my bill. I hate this! Seems like you should make it really easy to pay. But to rip away all options and have the website continually loop me between two useless screens that never lead anywhere else no matter what I push is a torturous game! You want the payment or not? Guess they want to force you to use an agent to pay it. You are not slick!

  • Ridiculous

    Y’all say safety is your number one priority. Okay,
    if safety is your number one priority than explain to me why one of your workers left a wire laying across my driveway for 25 hours and there was no urgency at all to come verify what kind of wire it was. We called your company 3 times. We were told to not touch it and y’all weren’t sure if it would electrocute us. We were told to not run it over or touch it. Yet it took y’all 25 hours to come out and look at it. Turns out it was a phone line down and wasn’t hooked up. Thankfully there was no real danger. However, taking 25 hours to respond to a down line that your company isn’t sure if it’s live or not and it blocking my entire driveway where I couldn’t even leave is completely unacceptable. That to me does not signify that safety is y’all’s number one priority. Do better.

    The outage map in the newest update provides far less detailed information than the old outage map. I can only think that this is done intentionally to make it look like a little rain didn’t knock out power to all of Uptown New Orleans. I’m so over Entergy’s dishonesty.

    For a while, both the app and website were unavailable for me to pay my bill because they’re undergoing “routine maintenance.” The app is often unavailable because of “routine maintenance.” If Entergy performed that much maintenance, the app should work. Why in the world would Entergy make the app and website unavailable at the same time? They should spend more time and money upgrading the power grid, instead of tinkering with an app that used to sort of work.

  • This couldn’t be more difficult

    There is no navigating this app it’s awful. No confirmation number, no log in so you don’t know if this is your account or not no help no Chat no options to do anything . I paid because the monies gone from my bank account but I got no confirmation of that nor can I go into my account and do anything but make a payment and when I go there, it’s telling me to payments due, even though I made one, so now I got to takeoff work tomorrow to call you people and confirm that I paid before you come shut my lights off even though my bill is not due till June 26, y’all shut me off three times already weeks before the bill was due with the excuse that if y’all waited to turn people off when the bill was over, do you never stay caught up so y’all start turning people off a couple weeks early makes no sense total nightmare
