    i absolute love this app! i’m a teen with a job & struggled with spending all my money & this app helps me keep myself in track & save money! it allows me to see how much i’ve spent in a month along with letting me know where i spend my money the most & allows me to transfer to savings or my own personal bank account along with notifications of how much i have left remaining or any other small updates such as the amount i spent while making a purchase! :)

  • User Experience Bad, Fees Worse

    It gets the job done, but the app is super clunky and noisy. Every time you open the app, intrusive pop-ups take over the screen trying to get you to add something to your account or link a card. If I say no, that means no — not ask me next time, and the next time, and the next time, and the next time.

    As far as fees go, Wisely is worse than the big banks. An inactivity fee that kicks in after a month, a $2 transfer fee to my bank for a wait time of 2-3 days. The platform is very out of touch with current financial institutions and lags behind most in every way.

  • I would give 0 stars if it would let me

    If you receive this card don’t bother just give your employer your direct deposit information if you have one already trust me! I wanted to transfer 38 dollars to my bank account and it said they’ll charge 2 dollars (pricey but whatever right?) no after I swiped across my screen to confirm… in small text it says “transfer takes 2-3 business days” I contacted a agent on the support button and now I’m waiting for a manger to call me back, so that wasn’t any help. If you’re gonna take 2-3 days to transfer my money then it should say that from the beginning along with the 2 dollar agreement. Cash app doesn’t charge nearly as much and it actually instantly transfers OR you can wave the fee and wait the 2-3 business days like they should. I didn’t ask to use this dumb card and app but here I am because I didn’t provide my direct deposit info.

  • Great pay service

    I’ve had this card since starting at my new job and it’s been great many close by free atms and I enrolled in the get paid early direct deposit with the upgraded card and the next day my pay check was deposited a day earlier I got paid Thursday morning at 5:30 am I normally got paid on Friday it would hit my account but not until atleast 8:00 am so I’m very pleased no fees no hassle good card

  • ADP loses here. Don’t bother

    ADP loses here. My employer switched payroll processors from and ADP competitor ( that doesn’t offer an integrated bank option such as Wisely) to ADP. My payroll was formerly being deposited into 2 other banking solutions that are well known and widely advertise ‘get paid two days earlier’ . My employer would process payroll on noon on a Wednesday and I would get the deposit by 4PM - a whole 3 days before my Friday payday. After the switch we got stuck in ADP’s monstrous batch processing cycles and that 3 days shrunk to a solid and barely 2 days before my advertised paydate. I thought going to Wisely would put them on par with their bigger and better competitors in this metric. I didn’t. On to the app itself Wisely doesn’t offer any features and in fact less meaningful features than the other more well known solutions in their space. Don’t waste your time with this app. The reviews regarding customer service here are troubling also. Stick with the better brands here you will thank me.

    Edit: You have to opt-in to get early direct deposit unlike peer apps in this group in which it’s automatic. Their TOS verbiage about this is far more restrictive concerning the competition. Wisely is hung up on ‘payment instructions ‘ AKA Payment File. I’m telling you that Wisely is an also ran in their arena of similar app and card offerings.

  • Can’t even set up the app

    I’ve been trying to set up my card with this app since I first got it. I really just wanted to use it to check my balance anytime without having to call the number and go through that process, however, every time I click get started and type in the card information it tells me that it’s incorrect until lately it starts telling my accounts locked I spoke with customer service representatives 3 times already and they always ask the same questions and say they’ve unlocked the account then once I try again it goes back to saying it can’t find my information. At this point I’m fed up with this app and the card company I’ll just bank somewhere else.

  • Terrible customer service

    I have been waiting 2 weeks for a secondary card and a replacement card because I lost my card. I het we have to wait 7-10 business days. It has been more then 7-10 business days and I keep getting told to wait, wait, wait. I have no way to access my funds, pay my bills and they want me to pay $35 to get a replacement card expedited to me. WHAT!! i asked to speak to a manager twice and was hung up on both times. I asked to notate my account stating if I do not get my card by the next building day I wanted a card expedited to me free of charge the rep said he would notate the account says “we will se what we can do” I said NO say it will be sent for free since I keep getting told to wait wait wait. He said again he notate the account says “we will se what we can do”. When I asked to speak to a manager I was placed on hold and they hung up on me. Absolutely horrible customer service.

  • Horrible

    I have never had this many problems before. First, I lose my card and have to request for a new one to be sent. Customer service failed to tell me I could pay a fee to get the new card overnight, so after calling again and complaining about how long it was taking I was able to. After I received my new card that I paid to get overnight, IT DOESN’T EVEN WORK. Everytime I swipe the card, i’m asked to use a chip reader (which the card doesn’t even have..) So, I call customer service TWICE and both times they hang up on me. They say they’ll send me a new card in a week, but won’t even dispute the money I spent to get the broken card overnight.. Just horrible. I feel scammed.

    So I’ve been using this banking app for about a year. Since I started working healthcare because this is what my employer offered. It honestly hasn’t been the best the app is glitchy and only lets you login when it wants to(since I switched to a iPhone it’s been better about letting me get in) but I also opted in to get paid early.... I usually get paid on Friday, it was going smooth and for about three months I got paid on Thursday so the day before. Which is awesome!!! But recently I haven’t been getting paid until Friday again (infact today I still haven’t got my money and it’s Friday and my pay stub has been in the system since Wednesday) honestly gonna go to regular banking if they don’t fix this !!!!

  • Ok i don’t know if

    Ok i don’t know if it’s the wisely app or my job not paying me but I’ve looked at the comments i get paid every Friday at my second job but i didn’t get paid last Friday or this Friday i thought it was my job but i guess it’s the app looking at these comments it might be the app i only got this card because i didn’t have my bank info with me on my first day at orientation so i got this and finally changed my info to my real bank account so if it’s not the app it’s my other job

    Update: i got paid so it’s ok but I’m not going to be using the app anymore only had it cause i didn’t have my bank info at orientation have my info going into my bank now thanks for your time
