  • Convenient app

    The app is easy to use and makes filing claims for our pet a breeze. Along with the helpful app, we are very satisfied with the customer service at Healthy Paws. Claims are handled efficiently, the coverage of claims is clearly explained, and refunds are handled promptly.

  • Made BAD changes to the app

    Used to be a quick and easy app to use. Of late, they make you enter login credentials EVERY SINGLE TIME. Only app we use that doesn’t store at least user name or allows for face recognition Login…

    Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the app. We've recently introduced an automatic logout after 60 minutes of inactivity, a feature common among many apps. However, based on valued feedback from our pet parents like you, we're re-evaluating this. Our goal is always to provide the best experience for our users. We're excited to share that we're considering extending or even eliminating this logout timeline in our Q4 2023 release. We appreciate your input and patience as we continue to make improvements.     Fantastic company to insure my Poodle through. They have always been prompt and fair in reimbursing me for vet expenses. You shouldn’t have a dog without Healthy Paws.

  • Super easy and quick

    Pros:
    Peace of mind that both my cats have health insurance
    Incredibly easy to submit a claim as everything can be done on your phone
    Incredibly fast to respond to a claim and goes straight into my account (direct deposit)
    Every experience has been great

    Cons:
    It’s insurance. You have to pay it every month.

    Real life example:
    One of my cats had to have emergency surgery to remove part of his tail which required a trip to the animal emergency hospital. Long story short, my cat’s tail is a little shorter, he’s back to being healthy, and a $3000 hospital bill came out to a $600 hospital bill thanks to Healthy Paws. They even followed up after to see how my cat was doing.

  • Very Positive Experience

    I have had a positive experience with Healthy Paws. I have a 12.5 year old Boston Terrier, who has had several health issues over the last few years. I signed up for insurance when he was 5 and didn’t use/need it for the first few years but his chronic issues started about 3 years. We have never had an issue with his coverage. HP has covered everything stated in their policy. Reimbursement is fast and easy. I usually send the claim before we even leave the vet’s office and have reimbursement within a few days. I’ve never had to wait longer than a week. The premium has gone over the years as to be expected with any insurance and sometimes the app seems not to work but the issue seems to be fixed now. Overall, very happy with HP and would recommend to any pet parent.

  • So glad we have this insurance for or fur baby!

    Healthy Paws has not only been there for us once but twice when Remy needed a very expensive surgery! When the surgeon says the cost will be 4k and if you choose not to do it the pups age comes into question. He was too young not to have a TPLO surgery. Then a year later it happened on the other side. Not his fault he has little legs and a long body! But now with the help of healthy paws he is a bionic dog and ready to run and play for another 10+ years with our family!

  • Great insurance

    So glad I purchased insurance for my siamese kitten when we brought him home. They are very mischievous little animals and has gotten himself into some trouble twice requiring emergency room visits and treatment. HealthyPaws helped cover the costs and made the process quick and easy.

  • Healthy Paws to the Rescue again!!!

    This is my second rescue that I have entrusted healthy paws with. My previous rescue was a sharpi lab who was abused. Needless to say… they ensured Bear was able to live out his last three years with the best possible care.
    I now have Luna Belle, a 14 month red heeler… who I actually second guessed my decision if I needed the coverage. Thank god I kept the peace of mind because this week… three months after adopting, she became sick with pneumonia and bronchitis suddenly. She was misdiagnosed and had I not been able to pursue the best medical care, I may have lost her. The peace of mind knowing the policy is there when the estimate comes, allows you to not hesitate with the care of your animals. The process for getting the claims submitted and reimbursed is hassle free. And the customer support is great. I will always recommend and stand behind Healthy Paws. They truly have a great understanding and compassion for medical crisis that arise!

  • Used to Be Great

    I LOVED this insurance when I first got it, now I’m paying more than triple from when I first got it (literally doubled for all three of my animals the past year) and they’re no longer quick to cover, IF they cover. I had to submit my last claim for my cat (which is covered per the policies) five times as it kept mysteriously closing on my account with no action. For the price at this point I’m spending half the cost of rent for three animals with half the support I used to receive and I’m about ready to just cancel entirely.

  • Healthy paws claim process

    My dog Zeus has been insured for the last 1 and 1/2 years. He was diagnosed with heart worm illness. He went thru the treatment protocol for the last 3 months. Healthy Paws processed all claims and reimbursed in a very swift manner. I am very happy with the claim process.
