    I don’t know what these people are updating, but userability is shocking. I read the earlier review and thought surely they’ll have updated it by now, two years’ on. But, no. I have a policy # etc. (UK) but the app doesn’t recognise it and asks for a Social Security #. The developers need to add in Big Bold Letters: U.S. ONLY.

  • Unum needs new app dev team

    This app is atrocious. Constantly fails with NaN errors and requires you to restart, enter your credentials through a multi step login process, no biometric login support… it’s like they wanted to make their product hard to use unless you’re at an actual computer. Even the mobile spot is bugged. Someone do something, jeez.

  • The Worst

    I don’t think I’ve ever dealt with a more frustrating company or app in my life. My company switched to using this horrible coordinator a couple years back and it’s been a nightmare ever since. I first had to experience this when doing FMLA for myself. Now I have to get it to take care of a sick parent and nothing works. I’ve registered, tried to login, and nothing. At this point I’m just going to risk getting fired than deal with Unum. If I could give you no stars, I would.

  • Underdeveloped app

    For being 2023 you think this App would have every modern feature but this App combined with a horrible company Unum makes for a disaster. If you are filing for a disability it will be a headache and take weeks to a whole month just to get paid. I guess it’s better than nothing at all but expedited snail mail is faster at this point.

  • Please update the Face ID feature

    This app works fine. The fact that it advertises for Face ID and that feature hasn’t worked in months is frustrating. Please update that feature.
  • Terrible app and website.

    Logging in is impossible on the app and nearly impossible on the website. are they trying to keep people from accessing the information?
  • No way to contact unum besides phone

    There’s no way on the app or website to contact unum; only choice is to call (or fax them, if you’re in the 1990s). And the phone bridge is a nightmare, including repeated reminders that I can do anything I need to do on the website—sure, unless what I need to do is talk to a human!
  • Hours Accessible

    I need to be able to access how many hours I have vs being made to call & sit on hold for 25 minutes just to ask that simple question. Before this update hours could be accessed on the app, now I that is no longer an option.

    Hopefully a fix for the login comes sooner than later. It’s very frustrating to have to keep signing in every five seconds.
  • Designed to fail

    This app is intentionally designed to fail. Insurance companies make money from denying claims and if at any point you failed to upload information or contact them in a timely manner. They will disqualify your claim. You cannot reach them by email you can I open the documents. Someone please reach out to me or call the federal trade commission on this company. It’s a big company and it will require a powerful entity to straighten them out. The company is not responsive at all and it will cost me close to $1 MM during my retirement
