Only half the app works
Developers, PLEASE fix the bug so we can uploads documents! This seems to be a continuous issue. I have yet to be able to utilize this feature and it’s one of the most important/useful ones. I always have to get my job or my doctor to fax documents directly which makes this app halfway useless. You can view documents and current leave but that’s about it. I get so many errors when I click on different areas in the app. It’s supposed to save time but seems like it’s just taking up space on my phone, so I’ll most likely delete the app. I’ll just have to use the website from now on.Show lessM10155
The most awful experience ever
I couldn’t apply for parental leave via website and app at all (iPhone, Mac). I tried to do this on different devices. It didn’t saved my disability claim either. Over the phone the same level of experience with Customer Service. They are not trained what to do and how and keep asking “business partners” and then come back with same answers that give you nothing. My family has experience with two of this type of companies over the years and this one is the most awful experience ever with their software and with their customer service services.Show lessSeeeeeedny
Not intuitive, terrible user experience
Whoever designed this app should consider a change of careers. Not intuitive, difficult to upload documents, important steps are hidden where it is hard to find, “Contact Us” results in no responses from Unum. In an age where we are expected to use apps to manage important life events, when call times to help lines are upwards of 30 minutes, this company needs to invest in a much better app. Scrap the whole thing and build new, there is nothing here worth retaining.Show lessynokiwi?
App is the worst
Just like their website, this app is pretty much JUNK. It’s AWFUL! UNUM should enlist the assistance of High School students studying (basic) information technology to help them create an app that’s useful, intuitive, properly formatted, easy to navigate and that’s ‘glitch’ free. Seriously, 8th graders to high school level programmers would have created a more useful app product than this mess of an app. Can I give it ‘negative stars’.Show lessirritating app
Face ID
This app is pretty descent but please update it Face ID no longer works! You have to manually enter your email and password each time no matter what! I have Face ID turned on tried turning it off and turning it back on tired deleting the app and reinstalling but still the same thing one you tap the app Face ID does not work doesn’t prompt ever! Also the app crashes way to much I’ll be trying to find something or click on something and the app just crashes and closes all of a sudden! I use an iPhone 11 and it’s completed up to date. This app needs an update for Face ID and for bugs and crashes.Show lessmtm3093
Terrible app
I NEVER leave reviews for apps, but this app is awful and should be ashamed as it is for professional use. I can’t even submit documents for leave because the app crashes every single time. Face id is non existent even though it is turned on and last but not least when you search something up it says “error has occurred”. Fix your app.Show lessmhavoc2211
Awful - buggy and crashes
I had high hopes for the app which are now completely deflated. Enable FaceID doesn’t work. When exploring the app if you select Add New Benefit there’s no way to return to the preceding screen other than to close the app and re-open. Then when you search previously added absences and select the item you want to view the app crashes. Lots of opportunities for the app and UX team to get it right.Show lessMport5150
Garbage App
This app is absolute trash. You can never upload documents because it consistently errors out when trying to upload photos. For the longest time the app kept saying it needed an update but upon linking to the App Store, no update was available. I had to use the website for several months because I couldn’t even get the app to open due to this. The company is also a huge hassle to work with. Need to fix the app and bypass update? Must read
You have to uninstall then reinstall so it takes you out of the endless update loop. I received direction from customer support and did as asked and it works perfect.Jamie Anne ✌🏻️
Update required
This app used to be good and I’ve no doubt once they fix the current bug it will be again. It currently will not open. With an “update required” notice upon launch and no update available for IOS it’s not usable.frog3816
