Frustrating - missing important feature
Please add support for pausing and resuming hypnosis recordings using the play/pause button on wired headsets, Bluetooth headphones, and earbuds.
This feature is especially important in a hypnosis or guided-reflection app. During a session, the recording often asks the listener a question and invites an internal response. I need to pause the recording long enough to consider the question and answer it in my mind. Currently, by the time I have barely begun forming an answer, the recording has already moved on to the next question. That interrupts the reflective process and makes the experience frustrating rather than relaxing.
Having to find my phone, unlock or look at the screen, and locate the on-screen pause button also pulls me out of the relaxed or hypnotic state the app is intended to create. A simple press of the button on my earbuds or headset would let me pause, reflect for as long as I need, and then resume without opening my eyes or disrupting the session.
On iOS, I understand that this is generally called headset or earbud remote-media-control support and can be implemented using Apple’s MPRemoteCommandCenter, including the play, pause, or toggle-play/pause commands.
This is not merely a convenience feature for a hypnosis app—it would meaningfully improve the effectiveness, accessibility, and overall user experience of the sessions. Please consider adding it in a future update and let users know whether it is currently supported. I would rate it a 5 if it had this. As it stands it is now too frustrating rather than relaxing for me to go higher than a two.

This is reawakening my soul
I cannot say enough good things about this app. Originally I was just looking for something that could maybe help me lose some weight, but what I found feels life changing. Just to briefly explain why: I’m extremely ADD and having other issues, and have been in a bad place, frozen, overwhelmed, and unable to get anything done. I’ve been using HypnoBox for about a week and a half now and have had all kinds of fun tinkering with it and finding the best suggestions for not just weight (and sleep), but to address my functional problems too. And it’s really working!!! I am coming back to life, and am truly enjoying the world again.
The app is wonderful and unique in the way that, in addition to its many excellent hypnosis sessions, it also allows you to create your own, piece by piece, from beginning (how do you like to be “put under”?) through the suggestions, of which there are soooo many, separated into helpful categories, until the end (are you going to sleep? Waking up for the day? Something in between?). I now have created three sessions that are mostly the same, but for different times of day. Oh! And the coolest—you can record your own suggestions! Also add your own music or other soundtracks. You get a free trial of a week. But I have to say: I don’t purchase ANYTHING. But I paid for a year’s subscription of HypnoBox and I think it’s going to be some of the best money I’ve spent. TRY IT!!!!

Best meditation app
This app has really helped me. I love it. It is the best meditation I’ve ever done. I tried a few of them - but this one is amazing. I can really feel how my sessions impact my mental health. They really do relax and transform my mind. Try it.
Good, but the app is frustrating
I mostly use it for sleep, and I think it’s helped. I should really try some of their other hypno courses.
The app is a bit strange to learn. I wish it had meditation. I love headspace, but I wanted to try hypno for sleep.
Biggest draw backs for me:
1. No airplay button in the player. It’s frustrating to use the iOS control panel to manually to connect the app to airplay. Every. Single. Time.
2. You can’t use the scrubber on the iOS lockscreen to rewind/fast forward. This sucks at night. I have to unlock my phone and be blinded by the light just to rewind.
3. Opening the app asks me to share with friend. Every. Single. Time.
I know you want to grow. But just let me use the app in peace.

I’m enjoying it
I’m only on the 7 day free trial. If this was like $20 less I would be able to afford it but I’ll keep going and see if it’s worth it. Seems good right now.
